This aircraft was a miracle in the making. From the early 70's when I first saw it flying at an Air Show near my home city where I live to the last time I saw it at an Air Show in 1984 along with the Concorde were the highlights of the show. At one time before safety and sound regulations you used to be able to see and hear all aircraft fly closer overhead of the crowd spectators. But unfortunately because of tragic crashes over the years and decades along with insurance liability reasons
i myself have seen a vulcan at the Abbotsford international air show near vancouver b.c Canada in the late 70s or early 80s i rebember the vulcan performing a spiral climb right there pretty near overhead man was this aircraft loud those 4 engines at full power for that spiral climb awsome aircraft
Yeah i was there well att he bowling green we had everything right above us :P but the vulcan was amazing . the red arrows we doing there performace about 200 feet above us :) was a very good day but very burnt xD
Thanks for posting. My first airshow as a kid was at Cosford in the late 80s, and the vulcan displayed that day too. We saw a lot of aircraft that day, but the one I remember best was the vulcan, and the incredible noise. My brother was shouting somthing in my ear as it flew past, and I couldnt hear a word. It just seemed to suck all sound in like a black hole, as it did a slow nose up arse down pass over the field. Fantastic aircraft.
I went cosford airshow the other day and im really sad it wasnt aloud to fly, but i still had a great time man, how do you mean we will see it this summer? fill me in i wanna be there! reply plz
