  • I think you're a badass!

  • Really good job. Just a couple critiques, when you padashaval make sure you connect your pasé and hit all you poses. Overall, great(;

  • oh my gosh I love contemporary there is so much feeling in this piece :)

  • whats this song called?

  • wow, ok, i wanna see what you look like now, cuz these unstretched ankles, bent knees, slopy arms and all that jazz ain't workin so hot =/ sorry just honest

  • i love this song. "An Explorer" makes some really great tracks =]

  • your a beautiful girl and dancer you have alot to offer!

  • Thank you so much! There is another video of me from like 6 months ago or so, but it's not my best piece. =/

The song came from an old friend. He put it together, so I'm sorry I can't help you. =[

  • the audio is very different... but i like it! i think the whole thing (song and choreography) is very original, i just wish there was some more floor work! but you have so much passion when you dance!! i can only imagine how great you must be now!

  • Comment removed

  • all these people give bad comments, but i don't see any videos of them dancing on here? .. I'm a dancer myself, but people like this stop me from adding any videos .. Ignore them all, like you said this is old and you have improved. I thought this was brilliant anyway!

  • Thank you!

I actually think it's funny people take their precious time to comment. The negative comments give me a drive to keep dancing. It's okay if no one understands this style-it's their loss.

  • what kind of dancing is this??? I competed at Starmakers ten years ago, and the choreography was much more creative than this. She could've picked a better audio track

  • this audio was very distracting.

  • i'm in love with the audio! it's very unique and makes your dance stand out. the execution of the choreography is a little choppy but i still like it ... you got to remember though everyone is so used to seeing people who practice all day every day they don't realize that this is more normal

(i mean that in a good way)... and i do agree with you,you can see the passion you have while you're dancing

just a suggest: maybe you should try some choreography with a little less arm movements

  • oh ya. the audio chosen is pretty interesting too.

  • your arms are everywhere and your movements need to have more impact. it will be better if the dancing is more smooth. but i think some parts were done up pretty good:) so yeah. continuing imroving!

  • repetitive. lines are atrocious, choreography is lackluster and facial expression... well there were none.

    i give you a C-

  • Yeah, I like how everyone watches THIS video and not the other one. I know my Technique is terrible, I was off dance for a year when I had this choreographed for me, but I disagree about the facial expression. Facial expression is basically what this dance is.

    1:23-1:26, 2:06-2:15.

Those are just the most noticable. Two of my friends actually CRIED because of this dance.

I know it's not technically amazing but I have passion, and that's more than technique could ever account for.

  • still don't see it, and this time i watched the whole thing. I'm not putting your technique down as much as i am the choreography... its something about the nagging port de bras, they never stop and they seem weak. But whatever... i can honestly say that I didn't watch your other video because 1. i'm too lazy to click around and find the link, and 2. i could barely watch this one, one i saw the fish flop i was done.

    sorry =/

  • How closed minded and judgemental of you to assume my dancing is that bad when you can't even take the time to watch my other video. But it's okay, because people like you keep me in dance, not pull me out.

  • once again... i didn't say it was you as much as it was the choreography. Learn how to read after you learn how to dance.

  • hahaha, what you just said was extremely contradictory and made you look really dumb. Is it the choreography or the dancing. Make up your mind and then keep it to yourself.

  • Wow pardon me but you sound like some ignorant pompus ass person that WISHES that they could dance well but instead they have to degrade other people as a way to keep themself sane.

    Miss.lisaloobunnyboo :D

(lame ass user name aswell) ahahaha!

  • I totally disagree with MajesticTOASTER. Speech dances are BEAUTIFUL, dancing isn't just putting moves to music. It's telling a story. You can dance with no music at all, it's still dancing. I love this idea, it was very creative of you :)

  • i LOVE it!!

    Its great.

    sooo good x

  • you need to work on your arms.

you should try lyrical instead of contemporary.

  • You're dancing with passion I love your vid...

  • the head is always bad....

    you sucks

  • You need more conviction. When you do a step, step into it put your weight into that step, every move should be definied its one of the hardest concepts of dance and the ones taht can master it are the ones that stand out at the end of the day.

  • your jumps and lines are great. work on the flow of the whole piece.

  • i think you need to loosen up

  • agreed

  • I seriously don't get why everyone in these competitions people feel the need to flail around and totally disregard the actual beat of the music.

I also think this "song", if you can even call it that, was a bad idea..because there's nothing musical about it or vaugely interesting.

I just didn't think it was very good.

  • Yeah well, thats the style of the more modern contemporary. The whole reason why i chose this narrative was so i could feel what they were talking about and dance to the tone of their voices, not the "beat" of the music that you can create 8-counts to.

That is what we call contemporary dancing.

We all have our opinions though.

  • whats this song called?

  • Nineteen again in GCS.

My friend made it though, so you wont be able to download it or anything. I was the only other person with a solid copy of it.

  • its awesome. make sure it has a continuous flow.

  • I think that's stupid that u ask for criticism if u already know ur strengths and weaknesses... LOOSEN UP! you did a good job!

  • THAT'S MY FAVORITE SONG

  • I didnt care for the choreography much either... but since your stuck with it you should really try to work out your transitions, you tend to do a move, come out of it, then do another, work on sowing them together better

  • very nice. the music matches the movement. i wish you were a little more fluid though. other than that you showed the emotion of the piece very well.

  • your movements need to flow into one another more gracefully. some akward movements. work on you're technique. other than that you're emotion was good

  • cool music! your dancing matched the music! which means a job well done :)

  • great job! you really conveyed the emotion. the music is very intriguing. if you'd like constructive criticism, i'd suggest re-looking at those leg movements around 1:10. i'd be cool if maybe one was a high fan kick and the other was parallel to the floor for some variety. i like it though! :)

  • iii loved this!!
