@AngelCTB It's a MMO... it's only a part of the game, there WILL be patches and surely Expansion packs...

I doubt Malgus is dead btw. He is a lynch pin of the Imperial story. Also, it's shady that he fell down a hole. You know who else fell down a hole and lived? Palpatine. Well to be fair, you saw him explode and he went into a clone body but not the same. I'll bet money that Malgus surfaces again.

@Soulece Let's go with Darth Maul instead. The Clone Wars has made it apparent that he's coming back, and he got knocked down a giant hole AND cut in half. But that won't stop him. Considering how much he's been built up, Malgus is most definitely going to return.

On my juggernaut i would just bring him towards the bridge after the last face your destiny thing and use force push when he starts using his lightning ability. 1 knockback off the bridge and its done

@Deeznuwts I've seen people do it with 1 knockback before. I've done this 5+ times in live and I can never get it to work with just one though. Still seems buggy to me.

@hairytoothgaming Actually, Malgus's fate is left in question. There's no confirmation whether or not he actually is dead. In most likelihood, he isn't dead. He achieved oneness in the dark side after his lovers death; he will more than likely re-appear in an upcoming expansion.

yes i knew it! i knew Darth malgus was actuly in the game and not just a hologram in flashpoints i only lvl 28 right now on my jedi guardian tank but i can't wait for lvl 50 but i gonna tanke my time and enjoy the game not gonna rush ty for uploading this man :)

looks fun but armour and weapon design is pretty limited by the franchise... I mean should I take the red or the orange lightsaber what to do what to do...they need to come up with some way of getting around that without taking a giant flying double backflip barrel roll jump over a shark.

@gaiusmarius161 There are different lightsaber hilts, but ya they aren't very different from one another than that and the color. The game doesn't revolve around what a lightsaber looks like, though. The armor is all very different and the gameplay is very fun, which is the main part of the game.

@skatbloodlord It is definitely frustrating. They really need to fix the engine. Apparently there is an issue with six core processors. I have one. I hope they get this figured out soon.

You would think that Darth Malgus would be more involved in the Jedi Knight's story. But his appearance is probably just like Revans. A flashpoint that doesn't tie into the main quest.

It kinda sucks that jedi consulars can't use the force AND fight so well in close range like in this trailer. A sage has to be at range, and the shadow (with the badass double-bladed lightsaber) doesn't have quite the melee capabilities of other classes and has to stick with stealth. I wish you could really play like the chick in this trailer.

@contown731 I hear you. Why can't you be like Darth Maul as a Shadow or be a super fast fighter like Yoda as the Sage? Thing is, No matter how strong you level your character, class still matters. Shadows aren't as powerful as Guardians because they are based off the healing class of Consular. Still, I wish you could choose which lightsaber style you wanted, like dual blade for Sith Juggernaut, but then again that would be OP cause you're 'the tank class.' 'Sigh', you just can't win.

@ChillyDawg219 Yeah the only way to kill him is push him off the ledge. My group wiped a good 5+ times before figuring it out. His loot is in a chest the spawns after you kill him.

My nicca this isnt a tank and spank. If you have to use abilities to cc, and make preparations during the encounter then you cant call it a tank and spank fight. Defined a tank and spank fight is you stand there, the boss stands there. And you dps/heal thats it. Fights as you explained it has some pretty decent mechanics. Good video.

It only requires 1 person to knock him off (thankfully), just did this on live with 3 people and a dps companion.

One question.. how did you figure out you had to knock him off? I can't find any clues at all.

@HonoraryOrange Good to know. I was trying to get my party members to use a knockback. They were having issues with only one person trying. The vanguard doesn't have one so I had to deal with that.

I figured it out from a tootip on his target. It says something like "Immune to damage except stuns and knockbacks." It's been a while so I can't remember the exact wording.

Most bosses usually have some type of tooltip or a buff that you can hover over. This helps a lot.

@hairytoothgaming After doing this fight a couple more times.. it is definitely buggy. I don't think it is necessary to time them together, but at times it may definitely be necessary to reposition him and spam as many knockbacks as you can. We had 2 knockbacks and myself who could pull him to me, and our last run through it took about 3 tries to get him knocked off. Either way, it is easy once you know what to do :) thanks!

@asdivh You should be able to fight him at lvl 49. You don't need to be lvl 50. So that let's you fight him sooner.

@Trinn007 My name in beta was Obasom. My name in retail will also be the same. This class was Republic Trooper Vanguard. My spec was shield specialist. The Jedi Guardian was also specced for tanking but we decided to let me (Trooper-Vanguard) tank. Hopefully this answers your question.
