  • pakistan mein train nahin missiles chalengi..unhe train se jyada zaroori missile lagti hain...wahaan k log bhi yahee chahte hain...

  • hahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

  • india is very poor country poor people use the train.

  • @MrTurshi what part of the world do you belong to rich guy? it seems that you guyz have s very big mouth but an equally tiny brain.. ha ha ha

  • india is very poor country poor people use the train.

  • It really nothing to be proud of. India has one of the biggest railway network because it needs it for its huge population. If anything US and Russia should be proud.

  • @bhriguaneja The Indian Railway system is light years ahead of the US rail. So what is your point.

  • @r8rdarklord It is? You have to crazy to believe that. Please for your own sake refrain from sounding so freakin stupid.

  • @bhriguaneja Try going from SFO to LA or San Diego or Phoenix or Vegas by train and then come back and talk to me. There are other ways of travelling to these destinations, but the discussion is on rail network, so let's stick to that.

  • @r8rdarklord I have and I freakin know. The trains are definitely better as compared to India. The only issue is the high fares. Fares are high because they practically run empty. People in the US don't take the train but its still so much better than what they have in India. Don't tell me Indian trains are better, I have both the experiences. American railway is better looking, faster and always, and I mean always on time. Type Amtrak in google images to see what they look like.

  • @bhriguaneja We are talking about the rail network, it implies coverage, frequency of trains etc. I looked at Amtrak from Emeryville to LA, it drops me to Bakersfield and then puts me in a Bus. And clearly you have never been on a train to Vegas there is no service from SFO to Vegas. Finally, when you say faster - in any journey, it's the average and not the peak speed that matters. Tell me again, how long does it take to reach from Emeryville to LA (372 miles).

  • @r8rdarklord RESEARCH before you just burp out things. India's area is around 1/3 that of the US. The railway network is 1/4 the railway network of the US. THAT COVERS COVERAGE. Now we come to FREQUENCY. Majority of India uses the trains, if the service was frequent the railway stations wouldn't be swamped all the time. Amtraks run between stations every 45mins-2 hours and it can provide a ticket to each person who intends to travels, which is so not true for Indian railways.

  • @bhriguaneja I know what India's size is in comparison to US - the coverage is better in the sense that if I have to go from A to B there is train service (a direct one to all the major cities). Majority of India uses rail because it is connected, affordable and comfortable. The stations are swamped because of the sheer volume of passengers the trains carry. Regarding tickets, sure Amtrak can provide tickets after all the trains run pretty much empty.

  • @r8rdarklord Do trains in India drop you to the doorstep of your destination hotels and such. Everyone has to take some sort of public transport when they get off at a station. Plus your experiences with Amtrak don't define the service. YOu can have your opinion, which btw is clearly biased. The journey is faster, not as fast as an airplane because its supposed to be that way. Most people take the train in the US because its fun to, again unlike India. I don't give a shit what you think.Fuck off

  • @bhriguaneja your knowledge bout india is far so puny than what u flaunt that u know of. actually u try to flaunt yrself as yet another know-it-all ABCD - America Born Confused Desi.. railway network here in india is far more sorted & vast than the network within yr peanut sized brain & the cobweb of yr know-nothing-at-all but bla bla bla ideology. so rather than asking others to do a study i wud suggest u that u do it yr self 1st & then stick wid yr pathetic kind. cool?

  • @r8rdarklord

thank you for your determined rebutt to mr brigu aneja whateva.

  • @chimemonster He is making a ridiculous argument, I have lived in US for 21+ years in US and except for taking trips from Boston to NYC, have never used trains. The Boston-NYC-Washington-DC area is well connected but SFO-LA-Vegas-Phoenix is not well connected at all. There is business plan for high speed rail between SF to LA but it's still in planning stages.

  • Pak is top in exporting .........militants even US China don't have world class training camps like us proud 2 be Pakis

  • yaar i have one pakistani friend (hassan shah ) he says to me - Yaar indian railway kafi taraqqi karta hey.. indian railway best hey aur hamara pak railway math pucho itna bakwas hay aur railway fund may zero paisa hey..

  • India need a high speed rail

  • @jeRRYdesired India is getting high speed rail. In this Winter Session government is introducing National High Speed Rail Authority Bill to constitute an autonomous body to look after construction of bullet Trains on six routes- Delhi-Amritsar, Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Pune,Delhi-Patna, Hyderabad-Chennai, Chennai-Bangalore-Cochin, Howrah-Haldia. Paste this link on google to read the news:- "Railways bill on high-speed train project in winter session"

  • @mastbanda100

hmmmmmm, i heard about that, and saw something on wiki, skyscraper, n others.

  • @jeRRYdesired That is last weeks news(6 days old), that's why I gave u the link. I am happy Government is really serious about starting Bullet trains. I even heard that Bilaspur-Manali-Leh rail link is waiting for final Nod from Planning commission, that will be a tough mountain rail project. Recently Patna metro got Green signal from planning commission, now 18 Indian cities will have metro Rail. I thought Indian railway has issues but it is nothing before issues of Pakistan railways.

  • @mastbanda100

hmm, im glad to see the new news about Patna metro rail, vwaoo, 18 metro railways active/ u/c, / planning till now!!!, thats a sudden rise, reflection of economic growth,,,,. India is doing well but we also need fast implementation,. thanq for your valuable information

  • India hasnt "recently" launched underground railway network, its been there since 70's as Metro Railway, Kolkata.

  • I LOVE 'DELHI METRO'....and the way they announce 'DILLI METRO MEIN AAPKA SWAAGAT HAI....KRIPYA, DARWAAZO SE HATT K KHADE HO...AGLA STATION, YAMUNA BANK HAI...VAISHALI JAANE WAALE, KRIPYA YAHAAN BADLEIN'(WELCOME TO DELHI METRO...PLEASE, STAND CLEAR OF THE DOORS...NEXT STATION IS YAMUNA BANK...PASSENGERS HEADING FOR VAISHALI, PLEASE CHANGE HERE)...yey-yey.It's the best in the world <3 :))....Love ya, Metro :))

  • pakistan is hit hard by corruption.....otherwise pakistan had very good network..

  • @mit29584 yea rite...correct it to agression and hooligansim....

  • Wtf.we in kolkata hav been using the metro rail since 1988.indian railways is the biggest netwk in the worldand the biggest employer in whole of asia

  • India have WORLD's Largest Railway Network, not just Asia's... :-\

  • @TheEsotericDesi China and Russia have bigger. Do some research before you shout!

  • @vaidisovaismine One or two longer railway lines perhaps, but not bigger systems... :-\

  • @vaidisovaismine You're wrong as well. US has the biggest railway network in the world. Russia comes second to the US. China is fourth and India is fifth. India is the largest run under a single management.

  • @bhriguaneja you missed the third spot there mate. it is us, russia, china, india.

  • @TheEsotericDesi no it does not. I think it is US/Russia (1/2) then china and then India.

    I am Indian btw.

  • @gsnayyar Well in case you haven't seen the US Railways, it's totally fucked up... passanger rail system... and I live here... and Ruskies in terms of Passangers and number of total lines is no where close to India... Just because they have a long route from Moscow to Vladivostok doesn't make them the world's largest Railways..

  • @TheEsotericDesi Yaar, I live in los angeles as well. I am just talking about the facts. Bhai ek baar search maar lete, mujhe kuch kehne se pehle. Even China does not have the network that US and Russia does, it is another thing, they use it for good transport. Passenger travel is always subsidized and the private operators don't do subsidy like Indian Railways do.

  • @TheEsotericDesi India's railway is 4th largest in the world - after US, Russia and China. It used to be 3rd largest for a long time. Go and see Encyclopedia .

  • @alpha001ful which encyclopedia, the american or the chinese.. ha ha ha

  • @TheEsotericDesi india does not have the world's largest railway network....

  • @SC2Slyphen Yes it does....In terms of number of passengers traveling per day.

Indian Railway serves approx. 20 million a day. You know a country that serves more?

  • @TheEsotericDesi , India' railway network is world's largest???? that's pure BS.

    USA 226,427km

    Russia 128,000km

    China 91,000km

    India 84,215km

    Canada 72,912km

India's railway is a legacy of British empire and has not been expanded by much since independence.

  • Comment removed

  • @bushangels :Dumbass..Metro and Monorail was not made by British..

  • @bushangels dumbass look in terms of size of the country to the distance covered!!

  • @bushangels

You didnt posted the surface area of every country!

  • @bushangels the revenue earned by indian railway in one day equals to that of american railroads in one yr.. dats the diff

  • @TheEsotericDesi No we dont..Its the 4th Largest man!!
