  • Every Korean person I have met is very respectful. It is a shame that the people in the DPRK are not free to see the world and what freedom has to offer.

  • you just went to marry a asian woman

  • RIP Tour Guide

  • You do realize that you put the tour guide at risk by showing her listening to Alicia Keys?

  • did you's enjoy ur stay ? :S

  • it kind of makes me sick seeing these white ass holes eating all that food and yet, they have dying children who would kill for that food. It's a bit disgusting seeing them smile but hey, that's my opinion.

  • I'm south korean but I'm forbidden to go North korea by our country's law. I hope to go there soon after reunification.

  • @s9870 really?? are all south korean people forbidden?

  • @anuukii yes it's true. ordinary citizens like me are all forbidden. only a few people (workers, volunteers of RedCross)

who are permitted by goverment can cross the border of North Korea. it's so pathetic isnt it?

  • you have to be careful with guides like that. Playing with your cameras or listening to western music could get her sent to a concentration camp. I'm sure it's fun to show her that but there could be consequences for her.

  • - The badest place to live today is IRAQ

  • 4:00 poor people. This is soo unbelievable!

  • LOL why is it that the underground stuff is all fantcy when outside is all like africa but having no grass and more crappy well africa isnt crappy lets say a hobos house

  • @00:30 why do they always have statues of communist leaders who look like they are hailing a cab??

  • I hope your guide wont go to concentration camp and serve for 3 generations including her children just by listening to western music

  • i love how every country that was beaten by us, somehow gets the idea that we are a country of war mongers and racists. if thats what you really believe, then come visit america and see for yourself. but no that would be too much for people. instead they would rather badmouth a whole country just because of something they saw on tv. and yet they call us pathetic

  • @guitarhero2211 go to Germany, its always like that there.

PS ur name is familar man, very familiar!

  • @poosaypirate it is. it's like that all around the uk that i've seen. the problem most other countries has is whenever they have a big problem that the people know about, they want to go and blame america. they would try to make them look like the victims when in reality, america had nothing to do with it. then they start blaming us and thats what gets wars going. so as far as i'm concerned, they just cant own up to their own mistakes and fuck ups

  • @guitarhero2211 I agree and USA should back off of EVERYTHING and let the rest of the world solve their own problems while Americans enjoy the benefit of having their hard earned tax payers dollars spent on them

  • @guitarhero2211 Why you love that? It is bad.

  • @habeascor what america? do you hate america?

  • @guitarhero2211 You said you love how people gets the idea that the US is a country of war mongers and racists.

  • @habeascor it's because they like to call us that, when in fact they are what they claim to hate. they are the intolerant, hateful, racists that everyone hates. so it's really their stupidity that i love. it makes me laugh even more at them

  • @guitarhero2211 Do you realize they were fed propaganda since the day 1 ? Do you think someone from NK can just come to US for vacation ? You are just another ignorant americunt. Try some rational thinking next time Mr guitarqueero. damn you're a retard

  • @HubZerO try some original insults fagzero. stop acting all high and mighty just because you are from the U.K. you people are just as fucked up, ignorant, stupid, fat, lazy, and racist, just as much as Americans are. or is that not possible, everyone else in the world besides and American is perfect in every way? god Europeans are fucking stupid. why do you think America separated from you fags in the first place? lol, dumbshit

  • @guitarhero2211 this is why north korean is aiming their missiles at us. because the face of america are idiots and capitalists. american soldiers acted like terrorists during the korean war. they severed limbs, murdered children, and to keep the shiny ass that is america, historians and the government buried that like the bones your buried from the kfc dinner you had a few weeks ago. most of us westerners are so mind controlled by the media, that they have never realized how ugly this world is.

  • @s7r1k30u7 i am only one person. i don't deny what we did back then, but i also won't apologize for something i had nothing to do with. if people feel the need to talk down to and insult someone who wasn't even born yet for all those bad things, then of course i will defend myself, i will defend the people that had nothing to do with it. as Americans, we have a lot of problems, but we are also a young nation. we are a nation made up of all the other countries. so it's their faults just as much

  • I am jealous of the weaker free Western countries as I cannot visit North Korea like they can. I am American. Then again, they can have their liberalism and candy-ass, stand-for-nothing lives. To hell with that, I am free and strong so the DPRK can wait for the honor of us Americans to rebuild their sorry country when this "Dear Leader" finally assumes room temperature.

  • @kdtrimble You can visit North Korea as an American, there are just some restrictions imposed by the DPRK regime, not the United States government. I'm a Canadian citizen (dual) in the States and I have a friend with only an American passport going there next summer. Oh, and by the way very few people in the U.S. or Western world buy into your liberal bashing freedom loving dogma, despite what Fox News might tell you. U.S. was founded upon liberal values espoused by Enlightenment thinkers.

  • @njchampnj

That is interesting to hear. How is it that you are going? Is this a group trip or are you two going alone? I would love to go on a business tour. The US was certainly not founded upon liberal values. Cheers!

  • @kdtrimble I'm probably not going. A friend is. You contact the North Koreans, through the Chinese I believe and they allow you to enter the country for ten days for the Mass Games. I can find out. For a business tour you may be able to enter the Kaesong Industrial region as some S. Korean (maybe American too) companies do business there, but I kind of doubt you can go for business reasons. Look up the Enlightenment, Franklin and Jefferson were very much influenced by it.

  • @kdtrimble what about the fact that USA spends so much tax payers money on helping south korea who is anyway ungreatful and doesnt want USA there in the first place

why dont you focus on that `?? I assume you would rather call Obama a "socialist" for trying to do exactly that, spend US tax dollars on ... -get this one- -.... Americans!!! ahahah

    crazy aint it ? wow

  • @poosaypirate you must understand US never do things without KNOWING that US either benefit or has a gain. YOU Wouldnt do that would you? spend money knowing you wont get anything back? samething. THEY KNOW they will get it back their interest in KOREA by supporting them. Koreans ARE grateful what you see are minor demonstrations but they are very miniscule compare to who support US. US and KOREA are largest trade partners US gets alot of benefit of having korea as their ally.

  • @MT22202 its not "minuscule" from what i see - including restaurants which post signs saying "no Americans" - and really what are you supporting here?

USA would benefit spending that money on education. higher education = competent workers = economic improvment.

the point is, kapitalism knows it takes time to reap those rewards.

the military involvement in as much as it can be = justification for loans from WORLD banks

  • @poosaypirate POint taken. But as important as Economic improvement. US economy does not happen alone. it is depend heavily on other nations status. Its important US keep its allies in check and support them so that when it comes to they support us we can also depend on them as well.

  • @MT22202 let Europe get their hands dirty for a while they been enjoying what Americans haven't for a good number of decades to centuries.

your priorities are extreme out of wack man

Im not interested in your nonsense

  • @poosaypirate US is not giving them the tax money to Korea for free. THEY ARE SELLING THEM and US military support to KOREA is supported by KOREAN TAX to feed the US soldiers in KOREA. they sell high tech weapons and these are major benefit to USA tax payers. ( DONT think US is giving away tax money to korea for free) and you know HIGH TECH weapons are very expensive in the range of hundred billions of dollars eg. F16s. Lasor guided smart weapons, cruise missiles etc) Being SOLD to KOREA.

  • @MT22202 SORRY BUDDY YOU CANT STUDY OR EAT HIGHTECK WEAPONS

    CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME

    BUSTED

  • @MarcoPoloOwns

I use my bicycle to produce energy to power my macbook.

  • @RolandRhodes1 I do not really think you live in NK... Because what I'm led to believe by my disgustingly peace-loving parents is that most of NK has no POWER. Plus, since the US and North Korea are enemies, I have not the slightest Idea why you're typing in ENGLISH.

  • im saving money to trip to North Korea and meet a free land ,,great!!

  • @sinocreyera You're joking, right?

  • I live in North Korea. Its cool place to live in .

  • You are allowed to bring cameras?

  • Yeah North Koreans believe its the Americans' fault for their problems, yet they never mention the Japanese occupation of the entire Korean peninsula in the early 1900's!

  • great vid! the guys are hot! :)

  • The state of NK is the fault of the Kim family and the corrupt oppressive system they force on the innocent NK public.

  • We need to drive out the WMG imperialist pigs

  • The USA made this problem and it must be corrected. Korea must be united as one, as was Germany and Viet Nam. If the money spent by the USA to destroy countries was put to better use, this world would be a much better place.

  • I can't believe the rest of the world is letting this go on like it not happening.

Humans are suppose to look after other humans for the good of mankind.

  • cool ur guide was hot!

  • dont go to nrth korea evil shit place.

  • is it allowed to bring a mps3 player or i-pod into north korea?

    i didnt know that :D

  • sad really

  • i can live without luxuries, but I can not live with mind control, being told what to see, what to say, what to hear, no way,

dont harbour any fantasy of the "paradise", it suffucates

  • @trafalgarstreet Yeah but regardless of what you say in western world it doesnt have any impact as long as it doesnt suit the government.... In the west they control what you see in mass media... their version of things !!! What you hear is also controlled.... And if you turn to indepent media sources once again they are marginal, no impact.... freedom of speech why in westrn world even though most citizens are against wars the gvts dont give a damn and continue their wars... so much for that

  • @trafalgarstreet So now start to think on that ....

  • by the ways DPRK looks 1000 times better than Afghanistan !!!! eh NATO there since 10 years.... where is greatness of west ??? hahahahahah

  • I think this is just a play for the tourist to think life in North Korea is not so bad thats all, rest of the North Korea is empty and people are slaves. I hope some day North Korean people will reallize there is better life up there then be control and brain washed by comunist assholes.

  • This is the first YT slideshow I enjoyed. I actually thought it was cool without your contraband soundtrack and I could focus on the pictures more than the music guiding me.

Can I ask, how did you arrange this trip? I guess the NKns knew you were coming and it seems you just played along with what they wanted to show you, and what they thought was great actually was quite revealing, i.e that massive motorway totally barren. Great stuff.

  • such a shit country. I feel truly sad for the helpless people living there.

  • I bet Edgar Bronfman Jr. is having a secret affiliation with North Korea and starts spreading communism through WMG banning music on YouTube, leaving us with nothing but VEVO, numa numa, and rick rolls.

  • Did you manage to sample any North Korean Pussy?

  • Swindon does not seem so bad after all.

  • Great... I'm really glad you guys were able to connect with your tour guide and respect her. You're very fortunate to have had such an experience amidst such absurdity and confusion.

  • in NK won't have car

The statue got all cars and you can rent is if you have enough money.

  • Id love to visit North Korea and Cuba both untouched with the times we live in.

    Thanks for the upload.

  • Hope your Guide did not get in trouble after you showed a picture of her listening to Western Music!

  • Comment removed

  • How'd you get in? And how much did the trip cost? I want to visit too!

  • @hippiechickie18 I am not sure...but for 1000$ you get the beijing-pyongayng flight round trip...two meals a day for 3 days and a hotel and a guide.

  • you can go to north korea legally believe it or not, its not easy, a lot of journalists go there and tourists can go too, it DOESNT mean they support the country, go check out "Vice Guide To North Korea" and click on playlist here on youtube

  • DPRK is now Korean Territory.

"Drive Out Communists And Reunify As ROK!"

  • Would have been nice if i could hear it, fucking rich copyrighted assholes! how much money does one person need?

  • how in the mother fucking world did you get into north korea D:

  • same question!

  • @ps3animalfunds It's not a problem at all :) Quite a lot of Russians trip there yearly...

  • Get a Communist manifesto a red star with hammer and sickle and cross DMZ in South Korea say your a Comie and you get in!

  • sound easy thanks going to north korea tommorow and might show some american pride .... :X

  • @ps3animalfunds You can go on a guided tour from China for around 1200 Euro's; Search; koryogroup

  • @oocares ok :P i will show some nato pride

  • @ps3animalfunds americans can get in legally, but they do it to see how messed up it is, look up "vice guide to north korea" on youtube

  • @ps3animalfunds

Only Americans and South Koreans are not allowed there, everybody else can go there any time. North Koreans readily give visas and welcome tourists. Only durung the whole trip you cannot go anywhere without a guide, and you can visit only particular places that they show to tourists.

  • @elena79rus , and you can't talk to regular people or visit the concentration camps north of the capital...What a trip, being watched everywhere.

  • thank you for posting! amazing how backwards they are and truly heartbreaking. how did u get such access? and why did you go? just holiday?

  • I see dinner @ 7:40

  • i would never go to north korea fuck that.

  • how did those people get in to NK?

  • how much you spent in North Korea? from what I know it should be around $2000US each right?

  • Unfuckingbeliable, how do they have travel? fck me! I wanna travel I`m south korean wtf?

  • I know a journalist (one of the few apparently) who managed to go inside NK. As i was watching this video i remembered her saying that the traffic lady cops robotically gesticulated for hours on end even if there weren't any cars passing by.

  • You're like on vacation... In NORTH KOREA!?!

Do they let more "tourists" inside these days?

  • Wow, she was gorgeous, but she's probably dead now cuz you showed her listening to your western music online...

  • @wingedsoul maybe lol

  • @anuukii

That's probably one of the few or only things good with north korea, they have pure (nonplastic surgery) GORGEOUS korean women...and we should continue replying each other every 5 months apperently lol.

  • actually your guides are chinese and another one is australian

  • out of alll why did u go to north korea... south korea is FULL of life and happiness and fun :)

i me hometown south korea... so tech :)

  • crackers are a dying breed bitch too weak to survive haha bitches

  • @danny71441 lol if they die out big deal.ever hear of cloning? the white genes are stored in labs in case that ever happens ;) besides all humans will due out in the future, it's the normal process of our universe

  • rong riv de grate reeder ken jang el an de grate peepers ho riv en de nurt korererere.

  • Hmmm, I think the caption at 7:53 could be accurate. NK is worst abuser of human rights in the entire world. How did you Europeans even get in there? Amazing.

  • Won't communism be great? Our kids won't salute though, they'll just sing:

    mmm... mmm... mmm...Barack Hussien Obama..

Oh wait, they already sing that...

  • It is so bone chilling how Obama is worshiped as a god...I don't believe this has ever happened in American History (except for maybe Washington, but hey, he was the first president).

  • Washington is revered highly, but not with the mindless zeal the moonbats have for obozo. Although, I almost wish Americans did worship Washington, simply because he did endorse personal freedom and responsibility, instead of dependence on an omniscient "elected" aristocracy.

  • Nice pics..but an unnecessary asinine caption @ 7:53

  • beautiful slide show.

  • 5.09 Is that the hot chick from some other NK videos?

  • rong riv de grate reeder kin el jing an de grate peepers ho riv en de grate nort korerer.

  • If I were a NK'er, and heard Alicia Keyes, I'd never want to leave NK!

    Sez it all.

  • lmao that was a good one

  • I hear Alicia Keys and I cringe when I hear it because its more overplayed than most communist propaganda songs!!!

Fuck me dead with the Alicia Keys already..

  • Fuck you? Thumbs up.

  • Why can't you hear anything? Why is it copyright?

  • You'd better not to bring your chick to noth korea, she'll be raped XD

  • lets all hope the evil regime in north korea goes down like a ton of bricks. The situation is nothing short of appawling. and it is a crime what is going on.

  • Yeah, but first let's hope the evil regime of WMG falls as well.

  • @youtert dude this isnt for you youtert its for the video maker. LOL do you know how horrible north korea IS? its horrible there and your having a GREAT TIME didnt you? WHY DIDNT YOU HELP THE PEOPLE IN NEED INSTEAD OF HAVING A FREAKIN VACATION ITS THE WORLDS WORST PLACE TO LIVE. GOD DAM IT.

  • @Mykimchimon wrong . watch more documentaries on the topic instead of shooting off your mouth and learn WHY

  • I don't get why it's "absolutely heart-breaking" (or whatever) that the girl is listening to Alicia Keys?

  • Because she has never heard Alicia Keys or any type of... "music" other then Korean music or whatever. Ofcourse it's heartbreaking. The most popular music, never heard by millions because of how lame their country is. I'd be depressed as fuck living in North Korea.

  • I live within 5 driving hours of the United States and i can't say i've even heard Alicia Keys for sure (although i probably have and didn't realize it). Just because someone doesn't know about what is "popular" in american music is NOT heartbreaking at all.. it's not like we're missing out on much.. come on.

  • Clearly you have something against someone feeling bad for North Korean citizens? I was simply putting myself in her shoes, and I would be depressed living in North Korea, as if I've been living under a rock. But you can stick to your words and I will gladly stick to mine. Some people don't choose to live that kind of life style, realize that.

  • Ok, you are right. But there are other much more important things about their lives that ARE heart-breaking..

  • Thanks tips, I didn't realize.

  • wow dude.

To see someone who's great passion in life is music, to hear for the first time something beyond the tiny range of music allowed to her, is indeed heart breaking.

Its irrelevant whether it is Alicia Keys or someone else. However, it was a good choice.

To us its just some R&B singing, but to a North Korean music lover it would be completely overwhelming. As you can plainly see from the picture.

Your cynicism is misplaced on this occasion. It is utterly, utterly heartbreaking.

  • I love the dear leader Kim Jong-il!

  • yeah i know, but, like i said above, just during august and september...besides that time frame it is nearly impossible for americans to enter the country.

  • thanks for sharing!

  • I thought you weren't allowed to film there?

  • Take pictures yes? I think they want you to take pictures of all good points of north korea. "Window dressing"

Filming can sometimes catch descripencies of north korea.

  • Very interesting. Thanks for that.

  • THe Koreas countries are soooo poor. NOT HOT!!!!!@

  • 1000th comment

  • Thanks for the slide show. It was really well put together.

    Kind Regards. x

  • I'm not sure showing pictures of your guide listening to western music was a good idea. Did you ask her if it was ok? Is there not a chance that she could get into trouble?

  • did you fucked the north koreean beach yea tou did good job

  • good. You are aware thought of the true life in NK, right? you did not buy into their propaganda?

  • Can you still ride this train into North Korea? From Beijing? or using the Trans-Siberian? is this still legal?

  • seems that North Korean people aren't as bad as we may think, Like the video said, they expected military men with no sense of humor to be their guides, but instead it was two beautiful ladies. Maybe what the western media is telling us about NK is not true, and to some extent their actions are somewhat "imperalist", also mentioned in the video. So let's look at NK with an objective view and put forget what we were taught about NK and actually find out the truth.

  • Comment removed

  • Well said.

  • @bumhokim why did you go there? why wouldn`t you go back?

  • @signalsyyz we sponsored a relief aid to North Korea in 1998. Sent food, cloths, medical supplies and toys for childred. My warehouse stored most of the supplies. With KOPC and other church in DC metro area, I went there to inspect all goods going to the people in need. 90% went to Pyongyang almost 10% were being sold to black market. When we questioned why supplies were being sent to wrong place.....we were asked to leave ASAP. Never again has such donations been sent again.

  • @bumhokim You are right. North blocks all medias and they only let through what they want outsiders to see. Kim doesnt want north korean citizens to compare their failed nation to outside country. he spoon feeds eveyrone. people are brainwashed to think their leader is the greatest have no idea what or how other nations and peoplare are living. they should visit other coutries free and compare and eye witness themselves to judge who trully is a looser.

  • allow trade, give fuels to NK so they can run engines and electricity, then they will use machines instead.

just ask to urself, who is enforcing economic sactions.

  • its not a good manner to say bad things about a country when the country allow u to enjoy their land.

  • thanks 4 sharing! i really enjoyed it =)

  • i enjoyed da video 2 but ders no way i wud eva visit der it looks so shit lol

    Peace!!

  • why is writing in red taboo

  • I'm SOUTH KOREAN.

    I really really envy you......ㅜㅜㅜ

Ofcourse I want to go to north Korea, but normal south Korean people can't visit north Kroea yet..( You can go if it is special)...

  • What is generally spoken about North Korea in your country? I have heard that the South Korean government wants to avoid an unification, because of the poor condition of North Korean's territory... is that true? Do you think that there are chances for a revolution or something (?) in North Korea? As a Pole, I know how horrible communism was, and I really hope that North Korea will be free some day...

  • Cool...thanks for sharing your trip! I wonder what the girl thought about Alicia Keys...which song did she listen to? Did she get to hear other musicians? How "expensive" was it to travel there?

  • Yeah well your profile says you live in the US. So go peddle your nonsense on North Korea, Vietnam or China and see how far that will get you. You'll be fertilizing a rice paddy over there instead of being a 'travel agent' over here pal.

"Civil Rights violations"...yeah....and China, Vietnam and North Korea are examples to be upheld when it comes to people's human rights. Ask the Tibetians...bet they have something to add about that.

  • Drive out the American Imperialists?

Yep....I'm going right out and buying a ticket to North korea. Jesus....why would you even entertain going there? These people hate us. Don't think they haven't got someone shadowing your every move. God forbid you happen to be there and the gates of Hell open...seeing as how things are being what they are politically.

  • LMFAOOOOO

    "CokeCola Poison Water."

just when you thought people couldn't get any stupider.....

  • O yeah tbone71491, like coco cola is the water from the fountain of youth ... )))

Its made from some crazy thing, that tooks only 3 Liters to make 25 000 liters of cola, yeah, shure it isnt poisen water )))

  • must i reiterate myself???

"just when you thought people couldn't get any stupider....."

it's obviously not good for you but something being unhealthy and something being poison are two different things.

Spell Check your next comment please.

  • No Ofence No ofence ... I just said that, becues i think that they are rite in some way, and i think that "Poisen water" is just a figer of speach... Maybe Im wrong. Sorry if I insulted you in some way...

  • fuck North Korea period!!!! I wish that piece of shit country would do a dirty move so the U.S can nuke the fucking shit out of kimmy jung Il !!! hahaha

  • Many idiots don't know the concept of myth. Myth is the story which is upon true event. You guys should not directly what Myth is saying. Myth is like a riddle or puzzle upon true story. Just like Tan'gun in Korean History.

  • For a republic that hates the U.S. so much they seem to hold them in high regard at any opportunity.

Thank you for sharing your trip, but I really felt your young tour guide. I'm about the same age, but this was an eye-opener. I hope for the best for So Jung, and hope she listens to the great MJ album, Thriller. I'm sure she'd like it.

  • There is nothing that can be done. We already fought a war with them. As for iran being innocent that's beyond laughable. If the Europeans and the U.N. where not profiting from failing dictatorships maybe they would feel compelled to do something. Just like how The U.N. and European countries where buying oil illegally from Saddam. innocent Iran, what a joke.

  • North Korea dies not contain any oil, therefore the USA will never do anything about it even under Nuclear threat which is much more progessed than I ran will ever be. But alas, there is oil in Iran, therefore the Bush/Obama dictatorship plans to eventually attack innocent Iran, still North Korea threatens America that is will destroy San Fransisco with a nuclear strike, but with no oil, pre-emptive attack will never happen, so sorry folks, North Korea will never be freed by USA's military. Sad.

  • someone should do something about this country. =( what a horrible place to liveeeee

  • haha i bet you that they would disagree with you on that :\

    unfortunate, but true lol

they're saying the same thing about people living in the US and other countries....
