In my opinion, People that advocate buying gold and silver have no idea of the chaos that will be going on when the dollar collapses. Guns ammunition and food will be "The" currency! I know I will be attacked on my next statement alone(will not respond to insults) But the Bible says that in the last days, "People will throw their gold in the streets!" because it will not help them!

Gold or silver are just metal like copper bronce and brass are. diamonds safire and other stones are stones. papirmoney are paper and can not be eaten. From what i have understand from the Holy Bible, gold or silver will be worthless in the day of the LORD. JESUS CHRIST is makinds only Savior. Read John 3.16 in the Bible. Its important. Remember what the Holy Bible says the 100% true word of GOD: In the beginning GOD created the heaven and earth, so we have not evolved from monkies or a big bang

Gold is currency, always has been, always will be. It has tangible value unlike the US Dollar and other toilet paper fiat currencies not worth the paper they are not printed on.

Gold can be exchanged for goods or any new currency that might be launched, at it's true value.

Oh - I see as I write this Gold just hit a new record of $1600 per ounce. I guess someone places value on it.

@wwwCrashJPMcom Not trying to pick on you here! But I recently heard a story about a woman that worked in a bakery in Leningrad during the German seige in WWII. She is alive today, and has a good size box full of Rolex watches and jewelry. She got them from people in line at the bakery wanting larger measure of the special bread they were forced to eat, which had saw dust in it to make it go farther! She was asked why she hadn't cashed them in, she was to ashamed to make money from them!
