I was so incredibly disappointed about the ending. The series built up to a climax (although i actually didn't like season 6 and 7 as much as the previous seasons), but instead it got a complete anti-climax...:-s The ending feels to me like some easy, lazy written, uninspired story. Like they just wanted to get it all over with.
Ok... Janewaay asks for their location and Paris says "Where we expected to be." I realize that the writers needed to drag out the suspense for another moment or two but was there really any reason for him to reply like that? Why wouldn't he have just said "Alpha Quadrant" or "home"?
Wow alot of humanity there...'it'll all be in my report', no wonder I fell asleep when this was aired. Fitting I guess, this whole series lacked humanity...it was nothing but technobabble and flimsy sets. Nothing like TOS, TNG, or DS9...
and then with all the advanced armor and weaponry Admiral Janeway provided, the Federation went on a mission of conquest throughout the galaxy. Eliminating the Borg, Romulans and the Breen. WHAT ABOUT THE TEMPORAL PRIME DIRECTIVE YOU STUPID WRITERS!!!!!! I love it when writers shoot themselves in the foot.
Wonder if you noticed..but shouldn't the Voyager be half destroyed, covered in holes, falling apart whatever at the end of the series considering how many times it was bombed, shot, crushed and stuff.
I do wish there had been more follow up after this episode, I do like how the last scene played out. They are all in shock that they actually did it, after countless failed attempts. I'm sure Kim peed a little.
After 7 years of trying to get home no jubilation or even a smile at being home?!? Played it far to cool for my liking (shrugs) Over all a good series but this could have been done better.
After 7 years of quantum weirdness, Q antics, time jumps, potential solutions that just deteriorate in the end...you can't blame Janeway and the crew for having a very measured response. For all they know, they are about to wake up in the middle of Borg space again.
I've read that Garret Wang (Harry Kim) was particularly disappointed by the lack of emotions among Voyager's crew when they returned.. I do wish, tough, they had continued with the series..
I have to agree. when i saw the ending i was disappointed......them arriving at earth then that's it. they could of at least had some kind of ceremony or celebration. what happened next? did voyager resume service? what about the new technology they brought back? what happened to 7 of boobs when she returned to earth?
@SHISHAMCC: They obviously did not use the advanced technology of future janeway on the enterprise to fight the schimitar. OK; you can argue that its top-secret by starfleet since it came from the future; but everyone knows about and wants to use the doctors mobil emitter device that came from the future.
Voyager limped home; They were so intent on getting the first series of crappy Enterprise ready they forgot to put any effort into ending Voyager. Just compare the excellent way they ended DS9 compared to this.
Ending was sad and a good blast to get them back, but i feel as though Voyager could have gotten so many more episodes out of it. Because it was the miracle ship to quote Mr Kim. And one in which the crew bonded much more than any others. Wish it continued, but at least we got glorious seasons out of her. Good Job to all the cast, writers and directors =D
The ending left us hanging, is what I object to. Enterprise should not have killed off Trip. DS9 kinda left us hanging too. TOS didn't even get a send off but they didn't do that for TV shows back then.
every final episode of all Star Trek series have always been somewhat of a disappointment. The worst ending was Enterprise b/c the show was prematurely canceled and they just threw crap together. DS9 had the best ending of the series IMO, despite the nonsensical religious crap at the end.
Janeway became an admiral just for exploring vast amounts of areas in the Delta quadrant and for doing a task which would be suicide for the weak of heart.
That's true. If you remember Janeway from the future, she also accused "present" Janeway of being stubborn and passing up on multiple possibilities to get the crew home.
She stuck to her morals and the prime directive which is admirable. The efforts it would have taken to get her crew home were morally questionable. It takes a strong person not to compromise themselves. I applaud her for that.

Man I totally agree! I grew up on this show. It always brought me joy through hard times in junior high and high school! I REALLY miss it sometimes! I miss Janeway and the rest of the family!
The series was great....but the ending absolutely failed...they should have added more to it....I would have enjoyed "Earths" reaction to a Star Ship missing for quite a few years to finally return....
Is this on DVD yet? Some people wrote they would have epidodes with Voyager in the Alfa quadrant too. I was hoping it would last longer that "The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" since it was on UPN rather than being resyndicated. it seemed l ike the encore presentation was syndicated because my local UPN station had it a different day and time than the network did if I am correct it was repeated the next week. My mother did not like the ending though.
This was a brilliant episode! To me, having followed the show through all 7 Seasons, I sometimes wondered if Voyager would make it back to the Alpha Quadrant, but this episode, and this scene kinda brought it all to a close... Great work from all involved. :-)
Didn't they do a lot of that stuff in the beginning of the episode? With Janeway becoming admiral and Kim getting his own ship and Tuvok going crazy and all that. They'll probably get all that in this timeline too, maybe except Tuvok.
how the fuck can you FAGGOTS say best st ending ever. are you FUCKING KIDDING ME, TNG had THE BEST ENDING EVER, so you all can SUCK MY COCK, FUCK JANEWAY, FUCK THAT INGINE CHACOKEY, FUCK THAT GOOK HARRY KIM, AND FUCK T.P. That's a no if you watched TNG,DS9 or Nemesis you'd see Starfleet has other Galaxy class ships. That and the fact the D was destroyed years befor the Voyager got home.
I have like all seasons, watched and dusty right now... But it really sux that Star Trek:Voyager had to end this way. It was like: Fckt up. :P We watched 7 seasons of star trek wondering if they would ever made it back, and like someone said: All we got is the birt of b'alana and toms daughter. I wish we could see how it ends. You know that the cast and writers of Voyager even thought about Getting home at season 5 and then make 2 seasons about Alfa-quadrant adventures?
The ending confused the heck out of me until I finally realized they were riding INSIDE the sphere, but nevertheless a good ending despite the lack of appropriate denouement -- the birth of Tom and B'Elanna's daughter is all we get.
If you watch one of the Star Trek movies (with Picard) you notice that Janeway makes a very short appearence as Admiral Janeway. But it's not like we needed that to know what happens to Janeway. But I really wished for a longer ending. Overall; Greatest Star Trek ending ever.
conjecturing--Janeway and the crew get grilled by Starfleet Command. (2)Janeway gets promoted to Admiral (3)Chakotay gets to be Captain of Voyager (4)Tuvok goes to serve on the USS Titan with Captain Riker (5)Seven of Nine renews family ties (6)B'Elanna returns to the Kronos. Just guessing, but it seems likely
Actually you are correct about most of that. Janeway is promoted to Vice Admiral. Chakotay becomes Captain of Voyager and Paris is his first officer(Lieutenant Commander). Tuvok is promoted to Commander and 2nd Officer on the Titan. Seven of Nine becomes a teacher. B'Elanna is promoted to Lieutenant Commander. Harry Kim is promoted to full Lieutenant.

Ultimately, Star Trek Voyager was a raping of what Star Trek was. Constantly reusing jokes or ideas that made past episodes of Star Trek popular. It needed to do these things in order to get ratings, but in the end it was cancelled.
but if u look season one of voyager is like 16 episodes long but the rest are like 25 26 maybe now tell me what happened the show was on the brink of being canceled and well thats wat happened in the end so really it was canceled thats why the ending wasn't the best i have seen episodes near the start which are better lol
In my opinion, Star Trek Voyager [7 seasons/years] was superior in drama and portrayed relationships to greater detail and realism then all previous Star Trek series.
It's aim and stories of morale have the same approach as the other Star Trek series, as it should.
they could do summit like that but u would kinda have to star from scratch lol with a new crew set them up it would take time and well paramount aint gonna do that really but i think in time they will coz if u look it this way star trek is nearly ending like starwars has *yes i kno starwars aint gone yet but give it time it will do* so u never kno lol
I loved Voyager's finale. However, I do wish they would have shown a few more minutes of footage. Say, the Voyager crew beaming down to Starfleet headquarters, Seven stepping foot for the first time(?) on earth, etc.
it was AWESOME! finally a captain (other than piccard of course) that does not get laid every single episode like that dumbass of kirk..and in the end now he is fat and doing commercials on tv and got ugly
Yes but you have to remember that was ADMIRAL Janeway's future, when she travelled back in time to meet CAPTAIN Janeway, the timeline was extremely altered. Many things happened differently when the Admiral travelled back in time, the journey home only took seven years, Tuvok didn't go insane, Chekota and Seven of Nine didn't die and voyager didn't have that really cool armour around it's body (not till much later). When someone time travels any little alteration can effect the entire future.
Enterprise AND Voyager were both pretty mediocre honestly. The Originals are the only ones to stand the test of time in terms of story content and genuine drama.
i kinda liked enterprise cause it didn't have the "pulling some gadget out of our asses to fix the problem" thing so often. it's also why i like voyager. neither were getting resupplied much, now were they?
omg this must of been the first time it was on tv...look at the sky one icon and how did u capture this video....the sound is really badly out of sync but its awesome :D
The out of sync problem is not my doing. It appears to be that in some cases YouTube cannot convert .avi files into normal flash files or whatever they are here. VideoEgg converts them nicely, no losses and always in sync. So, sorry guys!
It's like the other Prime Directive. only when neccessary. Like if a starship crashes near a primative village, or if you get transported from 23rd centure to 29th
Ya but than all kinds of new twists are possible. New shielding for the fleet based on technology that's not around yet. the borg must learn a new way of adapting. it's like the borg episode where a borg is created from the holodevice the doctor uses. You know something will be found eventually.
'Endgame' is the series finale in which we see the USS Voyager returning back to the Alpha Quadrant and Earth. The admiral you see there is Admiral Paris......also helmsman Tom Paris' father. Admiral Paris' also makes an appearance in the episode 'Pathfinder' of season 6.
The scene is the end of the series. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the show but before you go around and tell people names, study a little! Twat!
im confused; the episode 'relativity' shows janeway talking to the main guy of the federation; so wouldnt that episode mean that they are already in the alpha quadrant?
The admiral from 'Relativity' was Admiral Patterson. He made sure that Kathryn Janeway got the captain-job. The storyline you see there predates the pilot episode from season 1: 'Caretaker'. It's a time-travel episode in which Seven of Nine is transported back in the past to the events when the USS Voyager was still in drydock at Utopia Planitia Fleetyards at Mars.
yeah whats the name of the song... like that plays as the Sphere exits the wormhole..its so good, and its in like both Deep Space Nine and Voyager a lot..but yeah, the name would be good :)
true, but it wasn't that shitty, can't compare to the series of course..but it still wasn't that bad, plus i'd have loved to see more of the bridge officer's faces on those Fed ships when the Voyager popped out of the debris XD
Can you back that up with reason? No, I don't think you can, you fat slags for Voyager fans are all the same, you say "Wow, that rulez", but you NEVER-EVER-SAY-WHY!
at wolf 359, 40 ships face off against 1 cube and loses. Now the borg is at your doorstep and starfleet sents only 18 ships (with 9 more on the way) to defend earth, knowing full well that their weapons have no effects.

I wish we could see how it ends. You know that the cast and writers of Voyager even thought about Getting home at season 5 and then make 2 seasons about Alfa-quadrant adventures?
NuwbMan1414 3 years ago
I loved the series but i hated the romance between Chakotay and Seven, i found the whole thing cringe worthy.
wilkoman3 3 years ago 3
I hope they make a movie with the voyager cast...
ziggylia 3 years ago 4
The ending confused the heck out of me until I finally realized they were riding INSIDE the sphere, but nevertheless a good ending despite the lack of appropriate denouement -- the birth of Tom and B'Elanna's daughter is all we get.
VicGeorge2K6 3 years ago
If you watch one of the Star Trek movies (with Picard) you notice that Janeway makes a very short appearence as Admiral Janeway. But it's not like we needed that to know what happens to Janeway. But I really wished for a longer ending. Overall; Greatest Star Trek ending ever.
deadman4492 3 years ago
it ends too abruptly, 7 year show, they make it back and all these loose ends not dealt with. needed a follow up homecoming episode.
DarthSheen 3 years ago
That was a brilliant episode!!! i want the people who made star trek voyager to repeat them again on tv! cus i luv star trek so much!!!!

The best episode ever of Voyager
And hey we se the Prometheus again
Kambanicity 3 years ago 2
that episode rocks. my favorite cuz janeway meets her future self and she helps them go back to earth
CatTubeVids 3 years ago
What exactly happened? The borg ship was behind Voyager and now it's in front.
plm3d 3 years ago
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY did they not add more to this episode, I would have loved to see what would have happened to the crew.
gianderosa1990 4 years ago
conjecturing--Janeway and the crew get grilled by Starfleet Command. (2)Janeway gets promoted to Admiral (3)Chakotay gets to be Captain of Voyager (4)Tuvok goes to serve on the USS Titan with Captain Riker (5)Seven of Nine renews family ties (6)B'Elanna returns to the Kronos. Just guessing, but it seems likely
retro38 4 years ago
Actually you are correct about most of that. Janeway is promoted to Vice Admiral. Chakotay becomes Captain of Voyager and Paris is his first officer(Lieutenant Commander). Tuvok is promoted to Commander and 2nd Officer on the Titan. Seven of Nine becomes a teacher. B'Elanna is promoted to Lieutenant Commander. Harry Kim is promoted to full Lieutenant.
misterdisguise 4 years ago
I agree a good tying of the loose ends would have made this ending stronger!
Fymious 4 years ago
I loved this episode. It would have been better, though, if the reunion at the end would have lasted a little longer.
lakebabe360 4 years ago
What a great show. I can sit through any rerun any day of the week. I would love to see another series set in the future.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Ultimately, Star Trek Voyager was a raping of what Star Trek was. Constantly reusing jokes or ideas that made past episodes of Star Trek popular. It needed to do these things in order to get ratings, but in the end it was cancelled.
Bloodthroe 4 years ago
umm no...it was very far from canceled...i mean it was on for close to nine years.
mb1488rapidmon 4 years ago 2
It certainly wasn't on for close to 9 years. That is some kind of exaduration.
Bloodthroe 4 years ago
it wasn't canceled, 7 seasons is what was agreed upon. If you follow star trek you would know better.
tng = 7 seasons
deep space 9 = 7 seasons
voyager = you guessed it, 7 seasons
xrangerx 4 years ago
but if u look season one of voyager is like 16 episodes long but the rest are like 25 26 maybe now tell me what happened the show was on the brink of being canceled and well thats wat happened in the end so really it was canceled thats why the ending wasn't the best i have seen episodes near the start which are better lol
spartin619 3 years ago
In my opinion, Star Trek Voyager [7 seasons/years] was superior in drama and portrayed relationships to greater detail and realism then all previous Star Trek series.
It's aim and stories of morale have the same approach as the other Star Trek series, as it should.
actionstations 4 years ago
it wasn't cancelled you idiot, it was on air for seven years. Where exactly are you getting your facts from
xanderirl 4 years ago
They need a new star trek show, but set in the distant future, say 31st century.
EVariation 4 years ago
they could do summit like that but u would kinda have to star from scratch lol with a new crew set them up it would take time and well paramount aint gonna do that really but i think in time they will coz if u look it this way star trek is nearly ending like starwars has *yes i kno starwars aint gone yet but give it time it will do* so u never kno lol
spartin619 3 years ago
I loved Voyager's finale. However, I do wish they would have shown a few more minutes of footage. Say, the Voyager crew beaming down to Starfleet headquarters, Seven stepping foot for the first time(?) on earth, etc.
Theomega777 4 years ago 3
Yeah, they could of showed Janeway getting promoted, the crew having a hero's welcome, while Seven and others get on with life.

The audio and video are out of sync, is there anyway you can fix it?
BradleyZ32 4 years ago
It's upload related issu and YouTube's doing. I didn't convert it, YouTube did, that's why it's out of sync. Sorry.
Aeion2512 3 years ago
Terrific captain and crew. It was a good show.
4everAslave 4 years ago 3
it was AWESOME! finally a captain (other than piccard of course) that does not get laid every single episode like that dumbass of kirk..and in the end now he is fat and doing commercials on tv and got ugly
staraction 4 years ago 2
Demote her back to cpt. and steal voyager from its musem thats what I reckon
CarlD79 4 years ago 2
i thought voyager WAS the museum?
Fury007 4 years ago
Yes but you have to remember that was ADMIRAL Janeway's future, when she travelled back in time to meet CAPTAIN Janeway, the timeline was extremely altered. Many things happened differently when the Admiral travelled back in time, the journey home only took seven years, Tuvok didn't go insane, Chekota and Seven of Nine didn't die and voyager didn't have that really cool armour around it's body (not till much later). When someone time travels any little alteration can effect the entire future.
xanderirl 4 years ago
Enterprise AND Voyager were both pretty mediocre honestly. The Originals are the only ones to stand the test of time in terms of story content and genuine drama.
commandox20 4 years ago
NO fair! voyager had 16 years left untill admral janeway blew it!! We could have had 16 more years of voyager...bot NOOOOoooooo
I say we contact the borg adn have them drag them back!
spacegeek725 4 years ago
IMO all the star trek shows are really good but Voyager is truly great.
TitusPullo1980 4 years ago 3
Voyager was fantasic, much better than Enterprise ever could have been. Voyager was so original and cool.
davidsghost 4 years ago 4
i kinda liked enterprise cause it didn't have the "pulling some gadget out of our asses to fix the problem" thing so often. it's also why i like voyager. neither were getting resupplied much, now were they?
pendraco2000 1 year ago
this last episode was soo sad :(
voyager is the best star trek in my opinion, and i just didnt want it to end...
enterprise did not live up to the greatness of voyager at all
r31ncarnat3d 4 years ago 5
omg this must of been the first time it was on tv...look at the sky one icon and how did u capture this video....the sound is really badly out of sync but its awesome :D
spartin619 4 years ago
The out of sync problem is not my doing. It appears to be that in some cases YouTube cannot convert .avi files into normal flash files or whatever they are here. VideoEgg converts them nicely, no losses and always in sync. So, sorry guys!

i would love to see the entire episode if it were legal to put it up here
but paramount would give youtube a big row and this guys account would be deleted shame on u people lol
just use a torrent site a torrent download bit lord maybe and download it ur self it would only take a while lol
spartin619 3 years ago
so much for the temporal prime directive
ChildePC 4 years ago
It's like the other Prime Directive. only when neccessary. Like if a starship crashes near a primative village, or if you get transported from 23rd centure to 29th
ANACONDA360 4 years ago
Ya but than all kinds of new twists are possible. New shielding for the fleet based on technology that's not around yet. the borg must learn a new way of adapting. it's like the borg episode where a borg is created from the holodevice the doctor uses. You know something will be found eventually.
ChildePC 4 years ago
'Endgame' is the series finale in which we see the USS Voyager returning back to the Alpha Quadrant and Earth. The admiral you see there is Admiral Paris......also helmsman Tom Paris' father. Admiral Paris' also makes an appearance in the episode 'Pathfinder' of season 6.
GertfromNL 4 years ago
that isn't the ending you suck aeion2512
hyperboy94 4 years ago
Even if I do suck, what's it in for you?
The scene is the end of the series. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the show but before you go around and tell people names, study a little! Twat!
Aeion2512 3 years ago
LOL different uniforms
trombonist15 4 years ago
wait
im confused; the episode 'relativity' shows janeway talking to the main guy of the federation; so wouldnt that episode mean that they are already in the alpha quadrant?
xmahero2 4 years ago
Relativity was a time travel episode, remember? That was Janeway before Voyager left.
Keighvin1 4 years ago
The admiral from 'Relativity' was Admiral Patterson. He made sure that Kathryn Janeway got the captain-job. The storyline you see there predates the pilot episode from season 1: 'Caretaker'. It's a time-travel episode in which Seven of Nine is transported back in the past to the events when the USS Voyager was still in drydock at Utopia Planitia Fleetyards at Mars.
GertfromNL 4 years ago
u seriously are a star trek fan :)
i like voyager but the stuff at the end i never even knew except from drydock lol never new where it was in the solar system lol
spartin619 3 years ago
yeah whats the name of the song... like that plays as the Sphere exits the wormhole..its so good, and its in like both Deep Space Nine and Voyager a lot..but yeah, the name would be good :)

This was the BEST ending to a Star Trek series EVER!
visor109 4 years ago
It was, but the arrival home could have been a lot better.
Goldiney 4 years ago
true, but it wasn't that shitty, can't compare to the series of course..but it still wasn't that bad, plus i'd have loved to see more of the bridge officer's faces on those Fed ships when the Voyager popped out of the debris XD
pendraco2000 1 year ago
Can you back that up with reason? No, I don't think you can, you fat slags for Voyager fans are all the same, you say "Wow, that rulez", but you NEVER-EVER-SAY-WHY!
