The only problem is when ppl initiate communism the government overseeing everything becomes a dictatorship because humans are imperfect and greedy. Surely i would be fine with giving all my land, all my money, all my weapons and my freedoms to the government if i could trust them... Communism makes it way to easy for the government to just say "ya you dont support our war in _____? ok, you dont get any food or healthcare for a year and you cant do a thing cuz i have the guns."

If you understood what you were talking about, you would know that Communism is a phase of human progress marked by classlessness and grassroots, participatory democracy. The phase you are talking about, quite inaccurately at that, is State Socialism - a transitional stage to Communism.
In Communism, everything is controlled by the public - not "the government". Know what you're criticizing.

Its about equality, everyone is equal under the government. A system of lotterys to give everyone an equal chance at things like health care, welfare and even when you want to leave the country.
