maki can do a double air attack i.e jump forwad down attack for a elbow and immeidately go into a fly kick by pressing kick quickly

The best arcade button smash fighting game i ever played!

First time i saw it was in 98' my brother got SNES but in thailand they called

super famicom he loves to play this game co-op with my brother in law.

I still very young so i can't play it but i know this game is awesome.

12 years later i got my own PS2 and played this game which is included in

one of the 5000 games in SNES station emulator and the nostalgia and

memories of that time is happened to me again!

My Mom was SO funny when she played this game with me. She calls this game "Sluggo". She made fun of how video games tend to switch clothing from one side to the other. She called Haggar "Captain Brastrap" and says 'Look how it moves to his other shoulder when he turns around!' When she played, she said "I want to be Captain Brastrap!" She would do spin punches all day and laugh, and I said "Mom, you shouldn't do that move too much or you'll drain your health." She'd die and say "oh SHIT!"

@SirPreyasThe619 I'm guessing Capcom didn't want her to overshadow the main characters of Final Fight 2. Street Fighter 2 was white knuckle hot back in '93 so there was no need for it's popularity to spill over into another game. Maybe just a drop of it.

guys... I'm having withdrawals.. I just played Final Fight (the first one) on PS2 via the Capcom Classics Collection Vol.1 but I can't seem to find Final Fight 2 or 3 on any of the newer consoles!?!? (I don't have Wii). Is there a way I can play Final Fight 2 or 3 on PS2, XBOX, PS3, XBOX 360?!? I really want to play it! I never should have sold my SNES 10 years ago!! ARRRGH!!

@Ooga001 I used to have FF2 and FF3 on SNES. I guess you could get them on emulator. The console and the games are pretty easy to buy via online. I'm lucky cos I have a store SORT of near me, where they still sell ALL the classics in person, but I live in L.A. I didn't keep the games cos they're too easy. I get withdrawal symptoms too, or I wouldn't be watching this! :O :P

I liked this game but a bit more could have been done with it! it was polished enough and the addition of Maki was great but taking Guy and Cody out was a big mistake! A few more moves would have helped as well!

Final Fight 1 was one of the first games for the SNES. I thought it was pretty good at the time.  The graphics blew me away considering I had just made the jump from the NES to SNES and I always loved the Arcade version. It sucked that coop and Guy were missing but for one fo the first games it was pretty cool. The SNES version was pretty damn tough too. Beat 'em ups are repetitive by nature so I never had an urge to get 2 or 3. Double Dragon 2 & Batman Returns are my favorite beat 'em ups.

i think they should have added more weapons to this game like in streets of rage 2 (at least a gun or a katana) i did not like the weapons in final fight 2 (i like the weapons in the first and third). other than that the final fight trilogy is awesome ( but not the 3d versions so those don't count in the final fight series)
