by the way, philharmonic orchestra of Morocco first had the idea. I have been listening to many Andalusian Moroccan songs that have been preserved from generation to generation, thanks to our grandfathers. especially in very old schools like Fez, Tetouan, Tangiers, Rabat, Meknes, Marrakech, and Oujda which along with Rabat are both known for Gharnati music, which came originally from Granada(Muslim Spain).

@ariafanoos study the origin of Andalusian music, you will see that no single group contributed to this music, it was a combination of christian, jewish and muslims, and the jews are known for having contributed many styles, and even today they are among the few who preserve it.

I was not speaking of russian jews, but of spanish and moroccan jews who have a claim over this music as they both contributed and preserved it.
