Thanks, these tuts were made before I was made a Youtube partner which allows me to go over the 10minute limit. I do make longer videos but I still might break them up from time to time, because it's often easier to digest sections at a time.

how can i get a masking tool on photoshop elements? not the layering mask, the one that comes up red just for small parts.

Not quite sure how or if Quick Mask works in Elements but in Photoshop we toggle it on/off by pressing the letter "Q" When you do this nothing apparent changes except the title bar will say "Quick Mask" at the end. Painting with black will put on the rubylith mask, white will remove it.

ohh i dont think pressing Q works for me=/. what do you mean by using white and black? how can i use that as a mask? i have a mac btw.

If you have an icon that puts you in Quick Mask mode then when the foreground color is black and you paint, it won't paint black but rather a semi transparent red. I don't know if you have Quick Mask in Elements as I don't use Elements.

i think she's more of a mix between african and asian.. and actually i think it's good to practise on different skin colours...the last tutorials i've watched they've used caucasian models but it's really great to learn how to handle darker skin colours.

i have photoshop 7.0 is that cs2, cs3, or elements...ime so confused and i cant seem to find that highlighting tool so ime stuck with using the lasso which is horrible...please help me :~(

where can I find the actions pallet on my photoshop????? I want to learn how to make digital make up as you teach, and I can't understand where you get "actions pallet" ?

ALL palettes can be toggled to being visible by going under the top menu named "Window." When the drop down list opens, look for the name "Actions" and click it. What version of Photoshop are you using?

Im using CS3

That's fine, the thing to be aware of is that the palette/panels in that version snap back to the right side after you click off them, but you can detach them and move them away from the right by dragging the tab off and to the left. Hope this helps.
