The soul calibur series needs to bring back all of those move cancels from SC2 so I can play mind games again. What sort of sequel gives you fewer moves?

No shit it's going to be the same it's a fighting game they can't change the characters moves that much, there are going to be new characters and hopefully it will be like SC2 with an adventure dungeon mode and shops and such. Also character creation.

@dimitrisk8 Don't forget 3 as well. Both 2 and 3 are classics to me. They had the smoothest controls, unlike 4 that felt sluggish and unresponsive at times.

@dimitrisk8 bogus! the only thing 2 had over 3 was that you could still move while you soul charged. and if i remember correctly u could jump off the walls in 2 but i never tried it in 3 or 4. so the only thing i can say for sure 2 had over 3 was being able to move during the soul charge...thats it.

How can you say this game looks the same as the old ones when you don't even know anything about it yet? No shit it's going to be the same it's a fighting game they can't change the characters moves that much, there are going to be new characters and hopefully it will be like SC2 with an adventure dungeon mode and shops and such. Also character creation.

I get that this is the concept with most fighting games but this game doesn't look any different from Soul Calibur 4 heck they even have the same stages
