  • Why can I not find a video anywhere of this guy just talking? I wonder if he speaks in typical bass/baritone range.

  • @Stophocles he has a normal speaking voice, and it's actually a little higher than mine. unfortunately, i can't find the website where i heard him talk, but as it was a few months ago, it has been lost to the internet

  • Are you serious ???? O.o ????

  • Thumbs up if you would pay him for a personal Subwoofer.

  • How many times have you ever seen the great bass singers "SWALLOW" the mic??? JD, Big Chief, Buddy Hiles, Richard Sterban, George Younce,,,,,,,etc, etc, etc. YOU DONT. They sang from the chest! This guy is nothing but vocal fry below F1-G1.........not bad singing other than that. The harmony is superb after the first vocal fry -- 1:12. Also, how much is his mic turned up?? He overpowers all the other guys.

  • @LPKING47 actually most of the guys you mentioned reach their extremes with fry. This is very common among american bass singers to do this. Not saying it is bad that's just part of their expression. Still I favor basses from Eastern Europe over them

  • cool...unplug his mic and we'll hear the power...sure. Check any basso profondo. Those guys can sing low and with power. This is just usage of vocal fry register.

  • @bartlunatyk Of course he does not have the same power as the profundos, he isn't one. He's not even a bass at all, he's a baritone. It's not his fault.

  • @LordAngus1992 I know it's not his fault. I just can't stand all those guys here typing "What a great bass singer...blah blah blah". You can't deny his skills but in the same time ppl should be aware that he is not a bass

  • He would be amazing if he could go really high as well

  • @wahhagoogoo Actually he can. He has the world record for the widest male range.

  • that sounds ugly!!!!!

  • @quinteroalbi2010 few person can sing perfect with bass vokal

  • went real sharp at 0:42 or 0:43

  • @spiderchocolat3 their is always one of you douche bags on videos of people who have talent. stfu, i want to hear you do that.

  • @TxNormlmembr19 just sayin'. didn't say I never sharp.

  • 45 people sound like women and are offended by this

  • @hottie4evur 45 ppl jack off to your moms porn on the internet.... idk why tho her tits are all nasty and saggy

  • my headfoneess tff

  • I laugh at this! Tim Riley = best bass singer ever!

  • He's no bass singer, he's a bass whisperer, without the micro you wouldn't hear anything...^^

  • He should make a heavy metal band and scream for them. o:

  • This dude just ruined my headphones! Now that's bass!!

  • I had to disable the sub to hear the notes.. otherwise it was BRRRMRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • amazing)

  • Should make dubstep beatbox

  • the only interesting thing to come out of tulsa oklahoma

  • dude he's like a human bass

  • WTF MY SPEAKERS BROKE WHT THE FUCK I AM PISSED U PPL R FUCKING PAYING FOR THIS BITCH!!!!!

  • @shnnnmrphy calm yourself sparky. You probably have a job. go out and buy new ones. Caps lock is also pretty retarded.

  • That's just impressive. How on earth do you sing and control a frequency that your ears can't even hear? Ha ha. Nuts!

  • I can almost sing like him

  • Sorry folks but as a bass singer, it's not about vocal fry....it's about clarity and tone....this guy doesn't have either one....

  • @florshaker good thing he aint a bass singer.

  • sry man, but he is no JD

  • gay

  • lol omg and hes not black

  • The perfect quartet.

  • is this guy supposed to be a singer? O.o he's just making noise though

  • im not talkin bad or anything but i think this is sum serious vocal fry! he sounds more like a stand up bass than a person... no offense. but i mean listen to Tim Riley, Tim Duncan, George Younce, J.D. Sumner Chris West, Gene McDonald, Aaron McCune. the list goes on and on. what im sayin is listen 2 them and they will show you a REAL low note! anyone can use vocal fry as a bass singer or low baritone. so mayb he should try not goin sooooo low that the human ear CANT pick it up without headphones

  • if you subwoofer does not produce notes as low as that then it not a subwoofer

    hehe

  • I was wearing my Bose headphones an all I heard was buhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • HES MY UNCLE

  • he scares me

  • @SlayerGod999 if that scares you listne to chelsea grin and you will shit your self and hide in a wardrobe with your biggest knife

  • Now that's a TRUE rapist voice!

  • sounds pretty rad on HD25's yiewww!

  • The REAL Darth Vader.

  • He's not that great. My natural voice is easily as low as his. I just think that fry fake low bass sounds like crap. He sounds good when he sticks to his real voice.

  • @bottomfeeder73 Um I highly doubt your voice goes lower then his. He is won of the few men on planet earth that can go as low as 10 octaves. Stop lieing

  • @JaceMullen Well, you can highly doubt it all you want. It's a fact. With tons of resonance as well.

The fact is, when Tim goes down that low, it's not his real voice. I can do that shit and it sounds exactly like that, shitty.

There is many guys on youtube who have a deeper and more resonating voice than Tim. Tim just chooses to go into the "crappy ultra fry " zone.

  • @JaceMullen What do you mean by "He can go as loow as 10 Octaves"? An octave is a range of 8 notes. 10 octaves starting at what point? What you say makes no sense. Do you mean he can sing in 10 octaves? I don't believe anyone can do that.

  • @gregryf its true. he can sing notes so low u cant even hear them because the human hear cant pick them up

  • @Porunga111 OK, if he can do that it's amazing. I won't argue. I've seen many things that I would not have believed possible.

  • @Porunga111 No, because the subwoofer can't produce frequencies that low.

  • @cammz3 its not only that mate. the human ear can only hear sounds which frequencies are between 20Hz and 20000Hz and this guy can produce sounds of 8Hz. Trust me, i know what im talking about. The subwoofer may not be able to produce those frequencies, but even if it could, you still wouldnt hear it

  • yo... this dude would be sick wit dubstep

  • his band has an unfair advantage for the bass range lol storm's voice sounds like a double bass cello :D i love it

  • When they started harmonizing, my entire body was flushed with chills. Anyone else?

  • i thought the Adam Lopez had a 8 octave vocal range so with that he has the widest range for a male.

  • Justin Beiber should have the record for the widest range

    10kHz - 80kHz

    xD

  • @Slovenec5 lol @ 80kHz

  • had to go hook my laptop up to my car radio, just so i could hear this lol!

  • Shouldn't jsutin beiber have the record?

  • @Stickrazyinsane Perhaps for the gayest male voice ever. Tim still holds it for widest range though.

  • @akyrii Freddie Mercury would win that, sorry. Only Fred is a god.

  • @FoxtonLOL Freddie can sound as gay as he wants, he's still awesome :P

  • My subwoofers are dancing.

  • Bb0 ?

    Oh my god....

    the botton of the piano!

    WOWWWW

  • Tim is just low bass. I thought we were gonna hear him sing. The second singer sang the song very well, unfortunately Tim sounds like he's doing a low octave burp after sipping back a few Budweiser beers.

  • my laptop is just vibrating from his voice! lol i gotta get my girlfriend over to sit on my laptop when i'm watching this video! haha

  • would be great if he sang when he hit the lower notes and didnt vocal fry

  • @IchkyFan This is true

  • gotta buy some new subwoofers

    XD

  • Jake hess once affirmed many years ago to me when I sang Bass for the Statesmen, be true to GOD and yourself and not an imitaion of someone else, I will say this the boy has mastered sub tones in both directions I would prefer for quality's sake though it were left to just one moment and not the collective. sincerely, dear boy use your gift but never lose sight of what realy satisfies in your music. If you do not understand this saying you eventualy will GOD bless. no harm intended

  • @Bassclef50 Ok, I don't know what your problem is, but I have read your comments on other Rescue and Tim Stroms videos, and it's very evident that you are anti-Tim Strorms for some reason. YOU REALLY NEED TO BACK OFF!!! For one you don't know Tim Storms and have never sang with him ever in your life. You come on here and say JD, George, and Richard Sterban are all better and accuse Tim of being a show off. For one, JD was one of the most arrogant people on Gaither!! YOU REALLY NEED TO SHUT UP!!

  • @The336336336 you obviously never heard tim in real life or youd agree we dont need vocal fryers. if you cant sing low then keep practicing. Also to set you straight the whole last section of your paragraph is a lie ive never said anyof those were the best because i know just as well as anyone that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One more thing if you can disprove that he doesnt vocal fry at the lower notes please do b/c anything past a double low f for him is a vocal fry He said that..

  • i could do that but i don't wanna. amazing dude.

  • @mattybock hahahahhahaha yeah, okay buddy, he holds the world record. You wish you could do that. hahahahah lmao. EPIC FAIL

  • @joedude967 it was a joke dude. EPIC DUMBASS

  • @mattybock your a joke. EPIC DUMBASS

  • he makes his voice go down sooo low-to around 8 vibrations a second - that you can't even hear it any more.

  • this is kinda good..

  • My whole house vibrated.

  • @MatheusLimaFerreira Don't forget to clean up the mess you made.

  • Not a real bass singer even tenors can do this with a little practice and a hot mike IF YOU CAN BE HEARD WITHOUT A MIKE ON LOW NOTES IN A QUARTET YOU ARE TRUE. THIS GUY IS A JOKE.....JD SUMNER BIG CHIEF HARROLD GILEY TIM RILEY NIC VAL RICHARD STERBAN GENE MACDONALD REAL BASSES NOT THIS JOKE PICK IT UP PEOPLE REALLY!!!!!!

  • Your analysis is the most asinine and ignorant thing I probably have read in a long time! With the exception of Tim Riley, the bass singers you mention are the epitome of buzz-sawing bass singers when singing below the sub-flooring. Sorry, but the joke is on you!

  • my laptop speakers couldn't handle the low notes.

  • My friend has a $100 pair of bass boost headphones that vibrate on most songs!! Im gonna try and see if he will let me borrow them to listen to this song.

  • I want to hear how high he can go!

  • @Totorocatbus His record for vocal range is 6 1/2 octaves. The 8Hz note is approximately C-1, so that would put his highest at around G5...I would like to know if that's in chest or falsetto. If falsetto, it is still impressive to an extent, but if it's chest...I'm SUPREMELY impressed then.

  • my headphones actually started vibrating.

  • same here.

  • now thats a bass test!!!

  • omg i turned the volume all the way up and my headphones started to shake.

    Thats amazing!

  • Truly amazing! I have to take it too the next level as it is hard to project those low notes. The lower the harder. So I think a good measure would be projection (db) to corresponding notes

  • smooth bass voice =x

  • Often his sung notes represent the plucking of a double bass. This performance certainly blows you away if you are a first time listener.

  • mess up at 0:41 maybe he cant hear himself or something here :P

  • @mooby12345 Right, he goes all over the place there but I don't think it's a hearing problem.

  • vitas vitas vitas vitas

  • haha, the old folks are like ..is my hearing aid on?

  • I actually think it sounds really amazingly good.

  • Yeah, I find it really soothing XD

  • My subwoofer explosion :<(

  • @srquiros your subwoofer what? explosion? you mean explode?

gash.. people can wrang out the english language -.-

  • @MrWonnabee Exploded.....

  • lame as hell

  • that is a good song

  • it no longer feels right to refer to myself as a bass singer!

  • terrible

  • At :42 - :46 he's all over the place and that's one of the higher notes he hits here.

  • A wonderful upload...thank you and thanks to jd450lh who shared. Stars and hugs..Jan and Susan ♥

  • very nice-Jerry

  • dude, his lowest note is a guinnes world record 8 Hz note.

it means his vocal chords vibrates olny 8 time per sec...

the normal A note is 440 Hz...

hi goes lower than my 4 string bass guitar...

  • My Headphones Vibrate :O

  • mine too, deep bass!

  • este tipo se alimentaba con sapos cuando era chico?

  • Who was singing after? It was really peaceful :D

  • lol the brown note

if your voice can reach that low doesn't it mean he can also reach it really high?

    hahaha my headphones were vibrating

  • Wow! Like a Mega BASS

  • SO LOW AMF

  • by the way that last note is an F0

  • Nobody noticed that he is burping at the mic?

  • He's not. He's actually in the Guinness book of world records for lowest note ever hit

  • he's actually in the Guinness book of records for the widest male vocal range...which is 6.

  • Yes and for lowest note sung by the human voice which is 8 Hz. He beat the previous record of 16 Hz.

  • @RSUbaseball who you talking about? this guy or adam lopez?

  • @RSUbaseball guinness actually stated that his range is 10 octaves and that he can reach 5 octaves below the piano.

  • @RSUbaseball 6 what?

  • @RSUbaseball count again... 10!!!

  • @TheGeniusSavant Sorry man but it really is 6 octaves. A 10 octave range would be amazing though but i don't think that anyone in the world could do it.

  • @RSUbaseball guinnessworldrecords com says 10... .7973Hz to 807.3Hz (less than 10Hz shy of a perfect 10 octaves.)

  • @TheGeniusSavant that´s bullshit

807 hz is fucking high that´s not his lowest note

and 10times frequency is NOT 10 octaves higher.

1 octave higher: frequency by 2

2 octaves higher: frequency by 4

3 octaves higher: frequency by 8

    and so on

  • @JakobRobert00 Relax... breathe... read my post again...

    Lowest note 0.7973 Hz

    Highest note 807.3 Hz

and yes.. it's an exponential scale... You double the frequency for each octave... basic music theory, and Physics level one stuff...

  • @TheGeniusSavant wtf? lowest note 0.7973hz

the lowest note ever recieved (guinness world record) is 8hz and it´s by him.

  • @RSUbaseball either way... awesome...

  • Excelentes voces!!!!! felicitaciones.

  • At the start he sounds like a didgeridoo

  • He'd be a damn good beat boxer, lol!

  • I'll probably regret saying this, but aside from being a great video, I'm posting the 1000th comment!

  • Good job :)

  • my headphones are shaking

  • The mix sounds so muddy. To much reverb on the his vocals in the beginning.

  • Is it possible to get the same effect by inhaling a lot of Xenon? I understand that the heavier Noble Gases work like Helium, only in the opposite direction.

  • No it doesn't have the same effect. The voice gets lower but distorted and hard to control

  • i love the harmony

  • he could easily be in a death metal band, his voice would sell millions of death metal records

  • cool, death metal band with deep clean vocals

  • xD ! ! !

  • He sounded like a bass guitar. His sound waves can only be reflected by a sub woofer!

  • 0:43 Desafinada monstruosa... Também, com um grave desse é meio dificil não desafinar depoi de subir dessa forma, mas que podia dar uma treinada nesse agudo, ô se podia... rs

  • Impresionante

  • He holds the Guiness record for the lowest vocal note

  • wow!

  • brown note any1? I mean... I don't know about u... but I just dodoed my pants at 1:05.

  • i think he had really much testosteron in his blood when he was in the puberty

  • either that, or he started puberty early; I started around when turned 8, and now at 13 thirteen i sing second bass, and its still settling. there are alot of different thing that can happen.

  • That note at 1:13 !!!!!!

  • sounds like t-rex!

    awsom job, though!

  • ju `ladno

  • ju ladno

  • I have been a fan of Richard Sterban for the better part of 30 years, but I now add Tim Storm to that same elite catagory of OMFG !

  • In your face, Zonday!

  • his voice is soooooooo creepy :s

  • he needs helium

    he'd sound like me

  • He sings SOOOOO low, I can't hear anything he's saying!

  • how many testicles does this guy have? my guess: 14.

  • More like 28

  • No, he's got OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND.

  • lol

    Jouwl wins

  • oh god the DBZ reference is terrible. Go back to 4chan

  • The reference was awesome, you should lurk moar.

  • haha, what does testicles have to do with this?

  • and all 14 are pulling on his vocal chords
