Good new! Pride is coming back.. With just a new name called DREAM. Its exactly the same as Pride.. basically UFC gave Pride 65 million dollars to change their name. Now pride is called DREAM. Same ring, same music, same amazing intro performance, and of course the best fights ever.

Yeah. That is basically true. Same ring announcers and everything. The UFC is taking them to court for that. I don't know though because most of the PRIDE fighters didnt' do that great in the UFC (Anderson Silva, Rampage, and Minatauro being exceptions).

How in the hell is a ring better than a cage. A cage is more like a wall, which makes it more real. Can't think of too many ropes and turnbuckles in nature. The ropes make restarts a pain in the ass. And those "stupid rules" are the only way the athletic commission will sanction it you tool.

the only thing this type of cage is good for is man vs animal fighting.. when the tiger is about to kill you, you can climb up and do some Street Fighter II shit like when Vega (guy from Spain) climbs up and them drops down to slash with his claws.

STFU both of you. rings are in favor of strikers, cages are in favor of wrestlers. you know why? well i dont have to explain it to both of you if you are both true fans of MMA. as for UFC rules, i agree to both of you. it sucks but its the only way to get it sanctioned in the USA. i still think knees on the ground and stomping is closer to depicting a real fight. not to mention more exciting.cages or rings can be advantageous or disadvantageous to a fighter depending on his style

They need to change the UFC octagon to ropes instead of fence. they can keep the 8 sides but the fence is way too limiting...no room to throw punches against the fence. Kinda dumb imo

I really don't think they will stop using the octagon since it is a registered trademark of the UFC and has been used since UFC 1. The problem with the ring is that fighters fall out or they'll need to be re-set. That gives them time to rest and takes away from the action.

I can see that but when they grapple against the fence it really stops the action. I mean how long was rampage and henderson...or even crocop and kongo pinned against the cage. Not many people fall out that I've seen...some do but I dunno. Doubt my opinion will change anything tho heh. Thanks for the vid. Any new clip to see Fedor is a treat for me.

True that the action stops when they are against the cage, but at least refs do bring re start standing if there is no action. Hopefully there will be new Fedor videos soon (WHEN he signs). I'm planning on attending the weigh in and event for UFC 76 in Anaheim. If I go I will make another video of that as well.
