It's strange, it never tastes as good once your on the american side. Once you get over the border, the knowledge about the food is noticeably diffrent. The tortillas are fresher, the salsas are sweeter, refried beans are butterier, and the meat is way better. I had these tacos one time with this "powdered cheese" I thought was going to be like velveeta shit, it was totally, totally awesome.

@dinglenutzz It´s funny you say that, I´m Mexican-American so grew up eating Menudo and all that good jazz. Recently I went to the Peruvian Amazon and had some aligator, ants, and all kinds of exotic food while my companions would not even touch it and ate only stemmed veggies and got all sick and I did just fine, in the contrary when I eat all the ¨normal¨ food with all the toxic chemicals in it might look good but God knows it´s pure poison

Es que es cierto, eso son las sobras de lo que queda del cerdo una vez procesado. Son puros cartílagos y menudencias, no se como hay gente que se atreve a vender y peor aun que se coman eso. Debería ser comida para perros jajaja

It's strange, it never tastes as good once your on the american side. Once you get over the border, the knowledge about the food is noticeably diffrent. The tortillas are fresher, the salsas are sweeter, refried beans are butterier, and the meat is way better. I had these tacos one time with this "powdered cheese" I thought was going to be like velveeta shit, it was totally, totally awesome.

We have some creat traditional food, really. But its' all regional- the northeast coast is seafood and chowders served over biscuits, etc. Near the mexican border is most of the bbq and meats- texan chow, mostly. But go just north to nebraska and you've got heavy Native influence in the cooking- lots of corn flour cakes and such.
Really we're the fattest country because our government subsidized the distribution of high fructose corn syrup and put it in EVERYTHING, very unhealthy.

@sailorstarlight078 No vato estas mal informado, en America lo chido y perron, es que puedes comer de casi todo tipo de comida tradicional ( china, italiana, tailandesa, india y mas) claro dependiendo en que parte te encuentres y no me refiero a los restaurantes, sino a las tiendas que puedes conseguir cualquier tipo de especias y verduras o fruta etc....al menos q nunca hayas visitado y/o vivido en America....
