CONT FROM BELOW.....So the distinction that has to be made with an individual is that their is God and then their is the church. Sometimes u have to choose. If the church is Holy Spirit filled they wont make you choose, theyll encourage your "ear to hear" and not interrupt God. But sometimes God will test you to see who you will "obey" by purposely telling you a revelation and not telling the rest of the church "authority" to see if youll be brave enough to follow him.

The NT epistles after Acts are addressed to how the saints (saved) are supposed to conduct themselves. If we could do it any way we chose, the apostles wouldn't talk about christian conduct and being holy as He is holy.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Trying to convert people will make you lose them. You can lead them to water, but you can't make them drink. Many people love Carlton Pearson, however we are called to speak the TRUTH. It is one thing for an individual to live in error, and another to be in error whilst leading many others astray. This is the case with Carlton Pearson...
I love Bishop Pearson, but whole heartedly disagree! The bible said in the words of Jesus in the book of Luke that Repentence and Remission of sins should be proclaimed in his Name beginning at Jerusalem. This was AFTER Calvary!! Peter preaches in Acts 2 to Repent and be Baptized for Remission of sins. This would make NO SENSE if there is no sins to be remitted... Paul was told to Rise and be baptized calling on the name of the Lord washing away his sins. Come On!!
Carlton Pearson said that we're never told to get anyone saved, I have to do. We are told to preach the gospel and they that believe shall be saved. We are told to disciple people (which mean to teach people to live after the manner of Christ) We are also told to preach a gospel of repentance, if their is no hell, why is their a need to repent, if there is no conditon to salvation, why repent. Salvation is a work of grace (indeed) by BY FAITH, which faith without WORKS is dead.
The comparision of a religious era is ludicrous. Every era has had it's struggles, challenges, weaknesses, positives, , periods of impact and etc. If you study biblical and christian history today is no different than yesterday. The same toxic religious prejudice disguised as spiritual enlighment and empowerment still exist. Someone we disagree with is labeled a heretic. The so called annointed ones can manipulate, exploit, abuse their congregations without fear of being labeled a heretic .

2 Mr. Pearson lacks any credibility w/ a majority of traditional congregations
3 Mr. Pearson is aggrieved. Protestants don't follow leaders, but doctrines;

If the church is Holy Spirit filled they wont make you choose, theyll encourage your "ear to hear" and not interrupt God. two central points of confusion about basic Christians doctrine become clear in listening to Mr. Pearson's commentary. 1) He does not appear to grasp /acknowledge the devastating and unrelenting reality and consequences of evil in this life. @deliverednow Where did Jesus say that to Peter? Being saved is about responding to God. He stands at the door and knocks. We do not convert, we simply give the Word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Trying to convert people will make you lose them. You can lead them to water, but you can't make them drink. Our job is to give them the option, the choice and consequences thereof are theirs alone.

I am so tired...fatigued by all of this. "False prophets", I'm right you're wrong, the word says this NO is says that, blah blahblah blahblah. When I get to this point, I just think God didn't make it this hard or unfair so that some of us will get it right and some of us would get it wrong, etc. Omnipotent, all-knowing, omni-present, God would have known who were destined to Hell before we drew our first breath. I just can't listen to man preach anymore, full of contradiction and inconsistency.

It's a great big political system of opinions. It's much less stressful and debilitating to stay home and believe what you want to believe to get you through the day. However, it's also the place where Christ ordained us to gather and receive instruction, encouragement, etc. via hearing the Word. I've begun to realize that most Christians or those who claim to be "saved" don't even really know what they believe in but they are quick to quote select bible verses to support their agenda whether it's scripturally accurate or not. It amazes me at how hateful and intolerant "Christians" are. It has been drilled into us to hate anyone or anything that has a view opposite ours. I think when you really understand religion and what it represents everywhere(for the most part), it isn't difficult to understand what Bishop Pearson is saying. It makes perfect sense and is embracing of all which is contrary to how we are taught. We are taught religous views that only benefit certain folks. Bishop ministers what benefits ALL.

Mr. Pearson's views may well have some substance- the interviewer is obviously enamored with him.The problem here is how can one objectively evaluate when presented such a one-sided view of the issues ? Several additional problems: 1 There's NO monolithic 'black church'
2 Mr. Pearson lacks any credibility w/ a majority of traditional congregations

So yes, many of our ancestors knew of the Christ. In Hebrew,the name Jesus can be translated as Yeshua, which means "Salvation". As well in further study, you will find that the Apostle Paul had to deal with a lot of issues in the Greek culture, because,as you stated, they were out there, lol! It was Hell on Earth living up to their standards growing up.....They openly called folks names like "Fags, Dikes, Whores, Damn this and Damn that," Constant condemnation and a lot of loud music, shouting and preaching.....But very little understanding and room for questioning....and not even 10% Love shown.

carlton says everybody is saved....if that is true, there wouldbe no need for ministers, bishops, pastors, churches, etc, etc. he also says there is no hell. if that is true, AND he claims to believe the word of GOD, (the word says GOD is incapable of sin). then where would he suppose sin comes from? if sin is not of GOD, then what is Satan? cause i know without a doubt that i wont see him in the midst of the glory of GOD to be seen in heaven.....#thatisall

Study the word for yourself, the Bible says study to show yourself approved....Know the word so you won't end up in Hell, yes Hell at the end of the day. Believe all the word not part of the word. End result is that at the end, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Knowing that there is a god does not answer the question "What happened to those who died never knowing'. This know-it-all never really answered this. What he should have said is 'I dont know". And furthermore doesnt god say his will shall be done? So if gods desire is salvation, it should be done.

Bishop Pearson is more right than wrong but the sin of the world that was taken away was the seperation of God and man, the veil that has been rent. This doesn't make a relationship happen but possible. The Lamb did take away THAT sin of the world but as the disciple said in Acts Arise, be baptized calling on the name of the Lord washing away your sins.

I believe there is a heaven and a hell; and if anyone dies with sin in their lives, in hell will he or she lift up her eyes! I do not believe nor will I ever accept this deceitful doctine of inclusion. Yes. I believe we should love one another. Let's not forget that this was the main reason God sent his son, Jesus, to save mankind's soul from eternal damnation. THERE IS INDEED A PLACE CALLED HELL. I think you may have misunderstood him. Lexi stated that Bishop Pearson is saying that by the theology of creation, we are the sons of God. Bishop Guyton stated that we are the sons of God by the theology of redemption. He said that we must hear the Gospel and respond to it. Listen to that part again. Bless u.

Carlton, you are 1000% WRONG!!! If hell is not real, then why did God send Jesus to die for our sins? Hell is REAL! Many people have even seen visions of it and have been there (Mary K. Baxter, Bill Weise, etc...) It's real and you will go there if you don't accept Christ.

Salvation is available but it takes 1. faith because you cant please God without it 2. Repentance or turn and believe by confession or acknowledgment of who God is and what he has done. there is a perishing for people who don't believe

Jesus died for the sins of the WORLD, and all that the father placed in Jesus shall come to him. But what do i mean by world, the bible calls the church the world without end. Isaiah says he died for the sins of many. John 3:16, says whosoever believes in him will not perish. in Adam all die, but everybody was not in Jesus, only those that are predestined were in him from the beginning of the world. I love Bishop Pearson, but whole heartedly disagree! The bible said in the words of Jesus in the book of Luke that Repentence and Remission of sins should be proclaimed in his Name beginning at Jerusalem. This was AFTER Calvary!! Peter preaches in Acts 2 to Repent and be Baptized for Remission of sins. This would make NO SENSE if there is no sins to be remitted... Paul was told to Rise and be baptized calling on the name of the Lord washing away his sins. Come On!!

Carlton Pearson said that we're never told to get anyone saved, I have to do. We are told to preach the gospel and they that believe shall be saved. We are told to disciple people (which mean to teach people to live after the manner of Christ) We are also told to preach a gospel of repentance, if their is no hell, why is their a need to repent, if there is no conditon to salvation, why repent. Salvation is a work of grace (indeed) by BY FAITH, which faith without WORKS is dead.

Now, although, I do not follow the Gospel of Inclusion, however there is alot of truth in what Pearson is saying. GET BACK TO LOVE!!! This man said LOVE. Now if he was the preacher sleeping with 10 of the women members, the church would turn their heads and allow that minister to continue to manipulate his flock and he would be human...this man is preaching love and he is the anti-christ...LOL!

We are also told not to adulterate or mix the purity of the Gospel.To do so would so unalterably dilute it, the truth of the Love, purity, redemption, deliverance & inheritance of the Lord Jesus (who died for His elect) would become of NO good or effect as the Word of God makes clear. @NotoriousNYNJ If everyone is saved then we would focus more on understanding each other versus being judge over anyone we don't like or don't hold our views. Everyone doesn't have to hold the same views about God but we do need to get along and treat everyone fairly...that's where our energy is needed the most.
