Big bangs over billions and billions of light years away of apart from each other, all expanding at their own rate and directions of galactic planes will mix everything up. New and old galaxies collide, super black holes continue to consume matter and again somewhere else in distant space another hot dense moment of sigularity explodes into another big bang. To me it seems logical when looking at time lapse photos from Hubble and you see galaxies all pointing in different directions.
I'm with Mr Engranaje on this one, the brane theory to me has no beleivable justifiable interest to me. It's like a bunch of people purposely sought out an alternative theory just to be different. I too don't nessessarily believe in one big bang, I believe there have been many big bangs all thru existance and will continue for eternity. Because no one has been able to determine the initial spot of the claimed big bang, I think because of multiple bangs you would never actually find it.
@BackSideOFFThemoon In quantum mechanics, sub atomic particles can appear and dissapear in two different locations in an instant, further, they can also appear in two different locations at the SAME time. Also, can appear out of nowhere... Apparently, the big bang was a singularity, like this, it appeared out of nowhere, is that so hard to accept? So instead of accepting that people choose to believe in something else, which cannot be proven at all. Nothing proves god(s).
If the universe is rapidly expanding, is the matter in the universe thinning out as it spreads across the ever growing space until everything is so far apart that we cant see anything? or is new matter being created as the universe expands?
Can somebody plz answer this? its really bugging me haha
@BrokeStringGuitarist No new matter is being created, in the big picture. You are right on when you say that everything is spreading further apart, in the big picture it is common thought that eventually everything will be so far apart we wont see anything. this will lead to the ultimate end of the universe as it is known; a cold, empty non-dynamic void of space.
@nicolara9 The same thing goes if you throw a God in there. Where did this God come from? Did a God create God, then what created that God before God - and so on. The truth is we just don't know, and likely will never know. That doesn't mean we should stop trying to figure it out, but I think there are more important things science should/could be focusing on than what happened at and/or before the beginning of time. We as a species just aren't big nor intelligent enough to understand it.
@bftjosh but you are making a mistake here.. if god exists, he has nothing to do with time.. time does not touch him.. he has neither a begining nor an end..so you cannot ask who created god.. also, if god exists we will never manage to fully understand him.. that's why he is called a god.. the moment that we will figure out how god thinks or functions he will automatically stop being a god.. therefore, if he exists he is always one step ahead than our discoveries
@lilish4 i dont know how something got there and i dont think we will ever know but there was allways something, at the beginning before the bang the universe was so condenced that it was about the size of a bouncy ball and boom, the universe as we know it. and as i belive the universe will reach its limit and fall back in on itself. and the whole thing starts over agian.
if history has taught anything its that the side who lost in the days before the written word their side of the story was lost inside of the minds of the men that beheld them and died for their right to believe.in them. . get me on facebook
The question here would be how these things or particles, that annihilate themselves instantly, cause the big bang? Is it because of a particle that went astray that didn't annihilate? Or maybe this constant creation and annihilation of particles triggered an instability in a vast sea of nothingness? Whatever it is, it is certainly mind boggling and astonishing.
all of your questions have an answer as well as many more check out bentgenius on facebook,- a mission to bridge the gap between science and religfion
I think it would be safe to assume that there is something that brought existence to itself. If that weren't the case, where everything is contingent and dependent upon a cause, then nothing would exist at all. Although this violates the laws of thermodynamics, there must be a point where something can be created by itself but instantly disappears in order for the law to be valid.
@Elifaien well as far as we know, all energy still existed before the big bang in the form of a singularity. i've just discovered this series and am watching this for the first time, i hope they don't already explain that in this ep. or it would make this comment redundant :)
@knowpassword well, if you find that an event 'x' caused the big bang then you will have to answer what caused event 'x' to occur... and if you find that event 'y' caused event 'x' to occur, you will have to answer what caused event 'y' to occur... and the story goes on...
conclusion: it is really strange to think that something came from nothing, but if you do not accept that, you will have to question 'what created what' (as above) for an infinite amount of time...
The brane theory in two branes collide in a collision. Also the universe is almost perfectly evenly spread with almost uniform density collisions are never uniform. Therefore the brane theory is 1000 times less likely than inflation that started with a uniform explosion for the beginning of the universe.
They still cannot explain what gives anything "mass", thus the boson particle "theory". We are still infants on a tit when it comes to the wealth of knowledge yet known so don't get too arrogant because you went to MIT.
I was 2 years old when Penzias & Wilson made this fantastic discovery but did'nt understand it untill in my 30's due to the fact i had relegion jammed down my throat at school instead of science.I was made ignorant by ignorant people.
I feel like the big bang is a much too broad and unspecific theory created when we knew little about the universe (we still know little). People we don't have to jump to a conclusion of how the universe started and I'm so glad through the wormhole goes into this!
i like this show, however i dont believe in evolution or the big bang. the big bang makes no sense, how can you get nothing from something? And his intro makes no sense, he is talking about the big bang in a church, the answer to his question there is that God is eternal, says so in the Bible.
@snowleopard2539 This is why Religion has prevented the proper progression of knowledge and technology for thousands of years. It says so in the Bible...so it must be true? That's just silly. Just because science don't make sense to you, doesn't make it incorrect. Instead of reverting to a centuries old document that has been butchered by countless political powerhouses through out history to get answers to what you don't understand, try educating yourself.
@chriscowman wow, you obviously didn't fully read my comment and just went on your own religious tangent because I said i dont believe in evolution or the big bang. Do you even understand why i said "it says so in the Bible"? Mr. Freeman said "but if everything was created at this moment, then how was God around to create it?" then the answer to that question is what I said. And actually, the Bible has been preserved word for word, for example, the dead sea scrolls, we have the original copies.
@snowleopard2539 Why do you not believe in evolution? It makes so much sense. Have you never learned about how it works? Although, I understand you about the Big Bang, there is just so much contraversy in the theory itself, that to me it seems like a paradox.
@SynysterIsBeast Why don't I? because it doesn't make sense, Its not that I don't understand it, but that it couldn't have happened. And I agree the Big Bang never occurred.
You don't understand evolution. I can say that with absolute certainty.
People who aren't completely ignorant on the subject do not 'like' Kent Hovind videos.
As for the Big Bang, it is entirely possible that cause and effect do not apply to something which has no time.
And "God" is a panacea. It explains nothing. It's like saying "magic causes it to rain" and for this Chriscowman is correct. Your attitude of "for the the bible tells me so" has only retarded progress
@RPFS2008 I DO understand evolution. If you were certain, where is the evidence? Tell me now, don't just "say o.... i think this one guy may be has something somewhere..yah.." (like most evolutionists) And I mean proven facts, not the lies they keep in textbooks.
Now story time for the ignorant mind.... Once there was a man named Galileo who used a telescope to make discoveries about the world around us. Challenging the Catholic Church. He was imprisoned. But that doesn't mean he wasn't wrong
You have a video that shows how you do not understand evolution. For instance, you claim that the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics means that evolution is wrong. You do not understand the difference between a closed and open system. You'd know, if you understood evolution and the 2nd Law, that it does not apply here.
You're blindly parroting BS you don't even understand. Grow up.
@RPFS2008 ok, you don't understand this, I do understand, more than you. go to this link and learn something, you will better yourself. google search "thermodynamics evolution" first link to website rkbently at blogspot
Me? parroting, haha its vise versa. And I will grow up, gladly, I will learn and provide more evidence that evolution and the big bang are BIG HOAX
lol if you understand better than I, please explain the relationship between entropy and the expansion of the universe.
According to the blog/you, planets can't form due to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics! This Rr fella is as ignorant as you on the subject, which is hardly surprising.
And if you think the science of evolution and the big bang are giant hoaxes you're more of an idiot than I first thought.
@snowleopard2539 i don't get what scientists have to gain by promoting a big bang ... they are out there using instruments, that give them readings, and they publish them and interpret them. the readings indicate a universe that has grown from a much smaller size over time.. if new information comes out that contradicts a big bang science will junk it ... it's hard to perpetuate a world wide hoax in an academic setting...
@RPFS2008 So.. I don't support everything about Kent Hovind, but the FACTS that many evolutionists just ignore I take. Which is what science is isn't it? the F A C T S.
The Big Bang? Never happened. Where did matter, energy, and forces (like gravity) come from? The big bang doesn't explain this, there was nothing and then a big something came out of it. Makes no sense.
@snowleopard2539 You may wanna check out M theory it has made efforts to explain precisely this …but yeah you are right The Big Bang Theory does not explain a few things like what banged how it banged or what caused it to bang but with M theory there is a plausible explanation to all these question so check it out if you like…
@snowleopard2539 the origin of energy is the only thing that cannot be explained. but energy forming particles and gravity space and time radiation black holes chemistry temperature and matter itself is easily explainable, it could be written in a nutshell for kindergarteners to understand "never happened" is extremely ignorant thing to claim, as if you know what your talking about. a statement of someone in denial, brushing off valid truths
@RPFS2008 no, science points to God. We had to get here somehow, and I'm not going to believe there was a magical explosion that caused order not chaos, and then somehow all the elements necessary for life happened to be in the same time and same place and then somehow were sparked with life then magically grew into bigger things that turned into bigger things into bigger things into me. Saying there is a God is not like saying "magic causes it to rain" being an evolutionist is like saying that.
i mean, when you said about magical explosion, sparked with life, magically grew and inmediate order i clearly thought you are talking about bible, cause, i think thats what is written in it, isnt it ? seven days and all that.
btw,we dont know how old isthe universe and when big bang occured.trillions and zillions of years, dont you think that is sufficient time for all big bang anarchy to cool off a little ?
@bluzercic Yes, I do understand the concept of time. Just because you have a lot of time, does not mean something impossible can happen by itself.
And wow, you must be more ignorant than i previously imagined if you thought I was talking about the Bible. OBVIOUSLY you don't know what happened because there was no explosion causing order, and specific elements happening to be in the same place same time. Or someone placed everything in the right order.
@bluzercic ... No we don't know how old the universe is, "when the bib bang occurred" your assumption that it actually happened. "Don't you think" Just because someone thinks something happened doesn't mean it actually did.
On a side note, Please read all my comments in order before replying, I'm not going to reply to your other comment. I find its easy to do so with the new beta you tube. I dont remember exactly how to get it but it has something to do with a panda
here ; The age of the Earth is 4.54 billion years (4.54 × 109 years ± 1%).[1][2][3] This age is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples
Youd think universe would be a litlle bit older, dont ya think ?
I dont need to read all your comments, i quoted you and replied to one comment i did read.
@bluzercic wow, You are extremely ignorant. We do NOT know how old the earth is. That is a GUESS We could ONLY know if we were ACTUALLY there when it was CREATED. Radiometric dating? Yah, because thats reliable. "Consistent with the ages of oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples" give me some examples, don't "oh, there are a ton" no there aren't. What is with you and thinking? Just because you think something doesn't mean your right. And people can lie to you, don't believe everything.

@snowleopard2539 while 95% of all physics is guesswork (for example, we think the core of the sun is at least 20 million degrees F, but have we ever put a fuckin thermometer in there?) but you have to go with the data and infer these kinds of things. that's what makese science. we will never be able to put a thermometer in any core of any star, planet, anything, but that doesn't mean we can't figure out its temp. we've never seen the inside of the earth but we know it has an iron core.
@snowleopard2539 just as we can infer the temperature of the sun (accurately, very accurately) we can infer the age of the earth, and therefore our solar system. its not unreliable, its incredibly accurate. or perhaps all of the worldwide leaders in physics, astronomy and so on and so forth are just making shit up. im gonna go out on a limb and say that isn't the case, however.
@RPFS2008 no, the only one with retarded progress is you. If you were smarter you would have looked at my earlier comments fully. I was answering a question asked in the video. Then i said , it says that in the Bible. wow, all evolutionists here the word bible, then close their eyes plug their ears, and yell NOM NOM NOM NOM, jeez people. I thought you were people who loved science, not fantasy, go to like a comic convention for that.

JessicaTG2008 2 months ago
I'm with Mr Engranaje on this one, the brane theory to me has no beleivable justifiable interest to me. It's like a bunch of people purposely sought out an alternative theory just to be different. I too don't nessessarily believe in one big bang, I believe there have been many big bangs all thru existance and will continue for eternity. Because no one has been able to determine the initial spot of the claimed big bang, I think because of multiple bangs you would never actually find it.
JessicaTG2008 2 months ago
The brane theory seems too contrived. Two universes as parallel sheets seems too controlled.

BrokeStringGuitarist 3 months ago

We as a species just aren't big nor intelligent enough to understand it.
bftjosh 3 months ago

I think it would be safe to assume that there is something that brought existence to itself. If that weren't the case, where everything is contingent and dependent upon a cause, then nothing would exist at all. Although this violates the laws of thermodynamics, there must be a point where something can be created by itself but instantly disappears in order for the law to be valid.

knowpassword 5 months ago
@knowpassword well, if you find that an event 'x' caused the big bang then you will have to answer what caused event 'x' to occur... and if you find that event 'y' caused event 'x' to occur, you will have to answer what caused event 'y' to occur... and the story goes on...
conclusion: it is really strange to think that something came from nothing, but if you do not accept that, you will have to question 'what created what' (as above) for an infinite amount of time...

The brane theory in two branes collide in a collision. Also the universe is almost perfectly evenly spread with almost uniform density collisions are never uniform. Therefore the brane theory is 1000 times less likely than inflation that started with a uniform explosion for the beginning of the universe.

i like this show, however i dont believe in evolution or the big bang. the big bang makes no sense, how can you get nothing from something? And his intro makes no sense, he is talking about the big bang in a church, the answer to his question there is that God is eternal, says so in the Bible.
snowleopard2539 7 months ago
@snowleopard2539 This is why Religion has prevented the proper progression of knowledge and technology for thousands of years. It says so in the Bible...so it must be true? That's just silly. Just because science don't make sense to you, doesn't make it incorrect. Instead of reverting to a centuries old document that has been butchered by countless political powerhouses through out history to get answers to what you don't understand, try educating yourself.
chriscowman 7 months ago
@chriscowman wow, you obviously didn't fully read my comment and just went on your own religious tangent because I said i dont believe in evolution or the big bang. Do you even understand why i said "it says so in the Bible"? Mr. Freeman said "but if everything was created at this moment, then how was God around to create it?" then the answer to that question is what I said. And actually, the Bible has been preserved word for word, for example, the dead sea scrolls, we have the original copies.
snowleopard2539 7 months ago
@snowleopard2539 Why do you not believe in evolution? It makes so much sense. Have you never learned about how it works? Although, I understand you about the Big Bang, there is just so much contraversy in the theory itself, that to me it seems like a paradox.
SynysterIsBeast 7 months ago
@SynysterIsBeast Why don't I? because it doesn't make sense, Its not that I don't understand it, but that it couldn't have happened. And I agree the Big Bang never occurred.
snowleopard2539 5 months ago
@snowleopard2539
RPFS2008 6 months ago
@RPFS2008 I DO understand evolution. If you were certain, where is the evidence? Tell me now, don't just "say o.... i think this one guy may be has something somewhere..yah.." (like most evolutionists) And I mean proven facts, not the lies they keep in textbooks.
Now story time for the ignorant mind.... Once there was a man named Galileo who used a telescope to make discoveries about the world around us. Challenging the Catholic Church. He was imprisoned. But that doesn't mean he wasn't wrong
snowleopard2539 6 months ago
@snowleopard2539
Grow up.
RPFS2008 6 months ago
@RPFS2008 ok, you don't understand this, I do understand, more than you. go to this link and learn something, you will better yourself. google search "thermodynamics evolution" first link to website rkbently at blogspot
Me? parroting, haha its vise versa. And I will grow up, gladly, I will learn and provide more evidence that evolution and the big bang are BIG HOAX
snowleopard2539 6 months ago
@snowleopard2539
lol if you understand better than I, please explain the relationship between entropy and the expansion of the universe.
According to the blog/you, planets can't form due to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics! This Rr fella is as ignorant as you on the subject, which is hardly surprising.
And if you think the science of evolution and the big bang are giant hoaxes you're more of an idiot than I first thought.
RPFS2008 6 months ago

bluzercic 5 months ago
@snowleopard2539 i don't get what scientists have to gain by promoting a big bang ... they are out there using instruments, that give them readings, and they publish them and interpret them. the readings indicate a universe that has grown from a much smaller size over time.. if new information comes out that contradicts a big bang science will junk it ... it's hard to perpetuate a world wide hoax in an academic setting...
12inchvertical 5 months ago
@RPFS2008 So.. I don't support everything about Kent Hovind, but the FACTS that many evolutionists just ignore I take. Which is what science is isn't it? the F A C T S.
The Big Bang? Never happened. Where did matter, energy, and forces (like gravity) come from? The big bang doesn't explain this, there was nothing and then a big something came out of it. Makes no sense.
snowleopard2539 6 months ago
@snowleopard2539 You may wanna check out M theory it has made efforts to explain precisely this …but yeah you are right The Big Bang Theory does not explain a few things like what banged how it banged or what caused it to bang but with M theory there is a plausible explanation to all these question so check it out if you like…
amitsatwah 6 months ago in playlist Through the wormhole (Full Length)
@snowleopard2539 the origin of energy is the only thing that cannot be explained. but energy forming particles and gravity space and time radiation black holes chemistry temperature and matter itself is easily explainable, it could be written in a nutshell for kindergarteners to understand "never happened" is extremely ignorant thing to claim, as if you know what your talking about. a statement of someone in denial, brushing off valid truths
420dankykush 6 months ago
@RPFS2008 no, science points to God. We had to get here somehow, and I'm not going to believe there was a magical explosion that caused order not chaos, and then somehow all the elements necessary for life happened to be in the same time and same place and then somehow were sparked with life then magically grew into bigger things that turned into bigger things into bigger things into me. Saying there is a God is not like saying "magic causes it to rain" being an evolutionist is like saying that.
snowleopard2539 6 months ago
@snowleopard2539
do you even understand concept of time ?
i mean, when you said about magical explosion, sparked with life, magically grew and inmediate order i clearly thought you are talking about bible, cause, i think thats what is written in it, isnt it ? seven days and all that.
btw,we dont know how old isthe universe and when big bang occured.trillions and zillions of years, dont you think that is sufficient time for all big bang anarchy to cool off a little ?
and then earth,same thing
bluzercic 5 months ago
@bluzercic Yes, I do understand the concept of time. Just because you have a lot of time, does not mean something impossible can happen by itself.
And wow, you must be more ignorant than i previously imagined if you thought I was talking about the Bible. OBVIOUSLY you don't know what happened because there was no explosion causing order, and specific elements happening to be in the same place same time. Or someone placed everything in the right order.
cont.
snowleopard2539 5 months ago
@bluzercic ... No we don't know how old the universe is, "when the bib bang occurred" your assumption that it actually happened. "Don't you think" Just because someone thinks something happened doesn't mean it actually did.

we do know how old is earth,
here ; The age of the Earth is 4.54 billion years (4.54 × 109 years ± 1%).[1][2][3] This age is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples

MrAweeze 5 months ago
@snowleopard2539 just as we can infer the temperature of the sun (accurately, very accurately) we can infer the age of the earth, and therefore our solar system. its not unreliable, its incredibly accurate. or perhaps all of the worldwide leaders in physics, astronomy and so on and so forth are just making shit up. im gonna go out on a limb and say that isn't the case, however.
