People will say anything is animal abuse..starving your pet is animal abuse,unfit conditions,beating it daily,animals so traumatized they fear any human contact...THAT'S what abuse is..swear C&N is not abuse and whether people like it or not..dogs are PROPERTY that's why they're called OWNERS & it's the OWNER'S CHOICE whether or not they crop &dock or not. If you want to leave you're dog natural go ahead, BUT if you want to alter your dog, that's cool too!

@Mistwallows i can understand what u mean but almost all puppies of no mather what kind of breed will react that way thats because the neck/troat are often used as dominating spots whare other dogs/puppies bite it often goes away after it grows older

It's okay to rough up a puppy a bit as they grow, it teaches them 'hey, that's not so bad', so if a child or stranger does rough them up a little in the future (we all know children are not the most gentle of beasts), the dog will be used to it and pay no mind. :) What a CUTE puppy!

my uncle had a doberman at their house. He was 8 years old very loyal and friendly. I grew up with him. Later he ran away because my uncle's family later got a pair of dalmatians and didn't care for him after that. They are such assholes.

No a dobermann is not dangerous, they are real loyal pack dogs but are very territorial towards others how ever that does not apply to it's owners, family and those it knows. A Doberman wil bark at strangers unless invited into it's home/territory on the move they drop the defensiveness as they're not on it's territory like many dogs. This is fact a labrador is more likely to bite it's owner over a dobermann. You can train them though for any situation!

Dobie pups are very smart and usually transition from newspapers on the floor to outside potty fairly quickly. It helps to point their nose to their mess with a firm "No!" and immediately take them outside. They'll be asking to go out in no time.

Early and proper training and socializing is extremely important for all dogs, but especially for Dobermans. Good luck!

In the video the puppy weighed about 6 lbs; a year later she's 80 lbs - an average healthy weight for a female Dobie. You've got a big puppy!
