Actually Fillion has several quotes throughout the game referencing to Firefly. Here are some.

Just got the game yesterday and during the campaign, I was followed by 2 ODST troops voiced by Jayne and Mal. It was awesome. I only thought the Firefly references were in ODST but this game is rife with them!

actually on that part where jane and walsh are talking if you saved that marine sargeant from the first level the one being held by the brute that guy is played by nathan fillion and in this part all 3 of them have the same conversation instead of that 3rd marines voice

The three talking in Crow's Nest i think was coincidence, though it wouldn't suprise me if Marty wrote dialogue to referance Firefly. as far as "Reynolds Out", that's clearly a Firefly ref. why else would they give Nathan Fillion's character in Halo the name "Reynolds"

Odd. It's no secret they did voices for the game, and Halo 3 even uses likeness. What's even more odd is that all the facts are easily found on the 'Net, and it takes much less effort to do a search than to make and upload a video as proof. What's sad, though, is that the Related Videos on the right of this screen show the best proof of all. I say this only in response to those who still need proof, and not against those who provided it.

Ive also heard 2 VERY DISTINCT firefly lines in campaign mode:

-in Crows nest, when assualting the hanger, a (Jayne) marine yells "Sure would be nice if we had some GRENADES, don't you think?"

-Another is on the road to Voi, after the covenant crusier goes flying overhead. If you have a male marine (mal) with you, he will quote "Looks like we got here just in the nick of time! What does that make us?" And what's freaky, if you have a female marine (zoe) too, she replies: "Big damn heroes sir!"

I've also heard the Adam Baldwin (Jayne) marine yell "Say hello to Vera!" Your best bet to hear it is to start the mission where you are dropped off with the ODST's and knock out the AA guns the Covenant is setting up. You get Fillion, Tudyk and Baldwin with you.

all you have to do is read the cast credits at the end of the game or look it up anywhere on the internet to find out. you don't have to play a guessing game. yes, they did in fact read lines for the game and no, none of them were taken directly from the show. that stuff is copyrighted and wouldn't be allowed by Fox.
