of corse tokiyo has already made a life size robot that can go up stairs get coffe pretty much anything you want they will make gundams sooner or later just have to be patient
The first country to have mechs will surely have a huge advantage. The only possible response of other countries would be to make their own. Problem is you'd be SO far behind the technology curve you'd never catch up... Better get organized.

So, it's a matter of time to the robot technology be used as weapons in wars - if it isn't used, though.
