What they aren't saying is the size of this thing is a lot bigger than expected probably the size of Pluto. Its not your average rock in space..it virtually flew into the suns atmosphere and survived

I'm fascinated by the way the comet is visible through Earth's atmosphere. I had always thought that our atmosphere would be a narrow band, but it looks like a wide gap in this video.
