I love rpg games, its really like opening a portal to another role. Oblivion and the Witcher does that very well.

The game is absolutely fantastic. The only negative I could really come up with would be its (at times) confusing story/dialogue. Especially towards the beginning of the game, it seems to rush the story onto you all at once, instead of gradually immersing you in the universe.

the thing is: both games are great.

the witcher has a mature story...made for older people.

oblivion at the other side is made for younger people.

thats just my opinion...

For me oblivion got boring after some time and im playing the witcher since half a year

ok dude first of all ff 13 isnt even out yet so there are no comparisions to that to this.secondly ff12 was shit while assassins creed was a whole different genre.the witcher has a great storyline.its got a really non linear gameplay with tons of things to do. its better than ff12 which i hated after such an awesome game which was ff10.

Bought the Enhanced version yesterday. Did not own the original release, I'm glad I waited.

Very cool game, I'm confident it will become a classic. Looks like there was significant life in the Aurora engine yet. Bioware is the RPG master but their deciples are doing an incredible job with the source material!

Witcher is joining my short list of best solo RPGs ever (post Goldbox).
