surgeons have great authority and knowledge at GOSH, their dedication and professionalism is Ice on Cake, BUT PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTEMENT IS TOTAL FAILURE.
I've been operated there 2 tmes in the 90's. It is the best hospital in the world and trust me, I've been to many hospitals ;) Keep the magic alive guys!
I will never forget what Great Ormond Street did for me, I own them so much its been just over 17 years i'm 36 now and i would love to return to thank them they kept me alive and diagnosed the condition i now know as COPD.
I owe them a lot i want to go back and show them what the medical staff made possible i have a degree in IT and a business which i use to help others.
Thank you Great Ormond Street you can find me online just follow my username 2e0tpp (A licenced UK Radio Amateur)
great clip of a wonderful place, with an amazing staff. I used to work there back in 1995 and have so many memories from the place. I was a chef in the kitchen and we cooked for both staff and patients.

my cousin was here when she was a child she had a cancerous tumour thanks to the guys who work here and chemotherapy she doesn't have it anymore but its kind of sad to know that some children are't qite as lucky
My darling sister died there she was born with a very rare bone disorder called Hyphophosphatasia only affects 1 in every 100,000, Sadly my sister lost her life 26 hours old, GOSH was amazing So Thank you so much !! I and so many others know how sad it is to loose a child in your family, Give hope to a family and donate ! !
It always angers me when people give money to charities like the RSPCA, NCDL or other animal charities, when there are young children in Britain, and all around the world, dying from curable diseases.
this is very interesting and touching , i've read about this great hospital in the amazing book by Jules Kosky ' Mutual Friends ' , it's about the foundation and the deep connection with Charles Dickens ^^!
i am from guernsey my daughter has been there may times for heart lung and kidney failure shes had a heart transplant we have recently returned home after emily ha heart failure again she spent 8 months in cicu then a frther 4 mnths in a cardiac ward she has cum on in leaps and bounds everything they do is truly remarkable like u say we have also raised 75 000 for themhope he is well like ma daughter she gets stronger evry day 2 we bak there in 2 weeks
The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) was founded in London in 1852. There are a few institutions which pre-date it as providing care for children, although not in-patient beds. Great Ormond Street Hospital is thought to be the first hospital providing in-patient beds specifically for children in the English-speaking world. The first purpose-built children's hospital building was the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in 1873, beating GOSH by two years.
I owe this place my life! They helped me survive an operation to remove a tumor I had in my brain which caused epilepsy and I am in perfect condition now. And because of that I am now a regular fundraiser for GOSH :'-)
@mhawkins1988 i also owe them eeverything they have cared for me since i was even born with microtia , skin tags , teeth n jaw work and still to this day i am a great ormond street paitent and im proud of it :D i love them like another family i dont honestly know how i can thank them they mean everything to me i a= always take part in fundraising such as the london bridges walks i will do everything i can i hope you are well :)
@mhawkins1988 I agree, the work they do at GOSH is amazing, i've been an outpatient since i was 6 and recently had 2 operations on my eye, i'm a regular fundraiser too. GOSH is such a worthy cause, and i think your story is truly inspiring :')
