how can someone still complain about graphics today? As far as I'm concerned, one should play a game for the fun and not for the eyecandy.

If I was looking for graphics, I would watch Toy Story 3 or other 3d movie with awesome graphics.

That's why I love my wii. And I have a Ps3.

i never played the game....but i can assure you it's exactly like the one on the GBA

with 3d and cut scenes ....but the game-play style is exactly the same....you'll like it more on on the GBA believe me.. i did

I'm glad they did a Dragonball game. It's what great about dragon ball, ALL series and sagas feel completely different, they're all very different Artistic masterpieces, connected by a very complex storyline with fully developed characters. GT TOO.

No it wasn't. This game isn't nearly as good as Advanced Adventure.

Advanced Adventure is the best GBA DB/Z/GT game as it is. And that's with Super Sonic Warriors 1 and LOG2 besides Buu's Fury for competition.

I've gotta say DBZ > Dragon Ball, but only by a little. I usually only watch Dragon Ball if I feel like I need to just wind down a bit and be (pardon the Dark Knight pun) not so serious.

This review leaves me with little confidence in this game, so I guess I'll just stick with Dragon Ball: Advance Adventure for GBA.

Man, I thought the game was going to be GREAT when I first saw it...more dissapointing than Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I'll tell you that.

I beat the game and got every collectible, due to my urges for getting 100% in a game, but deep inside, I feel like I accomplished nothing. It was an empty, bottomless shell that could not be filled, and as soon as I finished the game, there wasn't any fun in playing it anymore....

Yeah, I write for the Norwegian gaming mag "Gamereactor" and I got the sweet sweet task of reviewing this crap. I gave it a 3 out of 10, but I'm not a fan of the series, or anime as a whole, so I don't know if I could have bumped that up one number if I was... but the game is absolutely horrible. Never again will I pick it up to play... ugh.

I didn't know Frieza was gay in the dub. That sucks. He sure wasn't in the original.

Recoome also doesn't have that corny line in the original.

nope not tried the demo... i'm not a huge demo person simply because i've played a few demos that were so limited it left a bad taste in my mouth towards the game... I was going to get the game though i'm picking up the new god of war collection for ps3 and dragon age:origins C.E :)

From you're review, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo might not be worth my $40. Though I have to admit, the cutscenes seem pretty cool and with the added language option that's even cooler. Too bad the about this game broken machanics. The whole seems like DBZ saga but better I suppose.

well dragonball was a somewhat decent series but it just wasn't as popular as dbz. its kinda like the earlier ff games that people don't really know of. they set the frame work for the rest of the series. i hardly remember watching db when i was little. dbz stuck with me especially since it was on after i got home from school. i rewatched db after cartoon network aired all the eps and i have to say it has some good eps but it also has some crappy ones like the rabbit, season finale.
