@flamingwafflez21 it gets you cydia which can give you third party apps that allow you to do things that apple won't allow you to do... like free games, free music, customize everything,... its legal as long as you only do the things that don't steal from anyone... like you can customize and its fine but downloading music or apps from the app store for free is illegal.... (however pretty much everyone does it)

when i downloaded winterboard on my ipod touch second gen i have encountered some problems. when i go to my homescreen it only shows like the 3/4 of the screen. what should i do?
@paul0dominique winterboard hasn't been completely updated for 4.0 so its going to be buggy... if you are stuck with the 3/4th of a screen, you can sync with itunes or reboot your ipod... hope this helps

@jasontoocool11 to get a phone on your ipod you need four things... an app for calling (such as fring or skype), an account on one of those apps (which should be free), a microphone/headphone, and wifi.. and thats all you need.. hope this can help..... any more questions just send me a message

@jaidon13 All you have to do is click update and update to 4.0, and to jailbreak it, make sure you check out my other video on how to jailbreak an MB model and you'll be set
@AGTHEATRAIN I can once spirit comes out, I know it's very frustrating with all these different jailbreaking programs. Spirit is so simple and once it comes out I will make a video on it
@JSpbc180 i have been told that if you used spirit previously you shouldn't do this jailbreak because it wont work :/... so i think you have to wait for the next spirit jailbreak, but i will make a video once it comes out so make sure to check back often

Some are harder than others, your iPod touch can be jailbroken with the snowbreeze jailbreak if you haven't jailbroken your device with spirit previously, I would do a step by step video, but I do not have an mc model to show everyone. I am going to make a spirit jailbreak when it comes out and it will be able to jailbreak your device.

@EriCesC1 The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.
@abankwa16 i would but all i can really do is direct you to the directions on the iphoneheat website (which is currently down for the moment but should be up sometime soon).... i would wait for the spirit jailbreak because it would save a ton of stress and it goes a lot easier

@ApolloDrumKing i think that when the spirit jailbreak coming out is going to be an untethered jailbreak (you can shut it off and turn it on when you want)

@JSpbc180 i have been told that if you used spirit previously you shouldn't do this jailbreak because it wont work :/... so i think you have to wait for the next spirit jailbreak, but i will make a video once it comes out so make sure to check back often

@AGTHEATRAIN There is a jailbreak for all the devices... Some are harder than others, your iPod touch can be jailbroken with the snowbreeze jailbreak if you haven't jailbroken your device with spirit previously, I would do a step by step video, but I do not have an mc model to show everyone. I am going to make a spirit jailbreak when it comes out and it will be able to jailbreak your device.

@EriCesC1 The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.

@abankwa16 i would but all i can really do is direct you to the directions on the iphoneheat website (which is currently down for the moment but should be up sometime soon).... i would wait for the spirit jailbreak because it would save a ton of stress and it goes a lot easier

@parischickensoup no you can mess up your ipod... but you can try the jailbreak in the description that works for your ipod, it is complex but if you take the time to do it im sure you can figure it out

i have an ipod touch 2nd Gen MC model and i was wondering if this new jailbreak will prevent the ipod from going into recovery mode when shut completely off or when it dies... would any jailbreak prevent that? if someone could respond to this with an answer, that would be great. thanks
