Don't buy this cam...some internal parts of mine are oxidized...after 6 month and carefull use...Panasonic doesn't want to change this parts and said that IS NORMAL...yea rigth, very "NORMAL" (and reliable) have a waterproof camera with internal parts oxidized!!!!! I´m very disappointed with Panasonic, Lumix brand and costumer service!
You know what?... i´ve looking for videos of this camera that make me decide buy it... so, when you say: "saben que? toy puro hueviando con la camara... puro hueviando"... entonces me dije, por la chucha! por fin un video weno que me convenció a comprar la wea!!! me la compro, gracias por tu demo...a toda raja... viva chile!!!
i went to a camera shop and the guy assured me that the only compromise in temperatures (he said even up to -20) was the battery life, as one could imagine the chemical reaction in the battery to be diminishedd.
anyone go hands on experience with cold? my ft-1 arrives in a few days and im gonna be skiing with it
the only problem i can see from the cold is that the battery life will greatly be reduced, but i doubt any mechanical failure, as everyhing is clinically clean and hermetically sealed inside the camera there's nothing to freeze and get stuck..
Hey mate, can you provide info on exactly which card you are using as well as your camera settings for this video? I have the camera myself, buyt I haven't gotten around to filming underwater yet!
Hello. Thank you for sharing this test video! I have a ZS3 for the 12x zoom, but I'm also interested to get a TS1. How long have you had it? Do you recommend it? Thanks again!
Let me tell you that I got another camera Panasonic and I've no had probelms without problem due to used in warm water, as pool or natural thermal spring . I've got many videos of my son.
You might want to talk to panasonic about it but I'm pretty sure this camera wouldn't be guaranteed in warm water. I only say it because most waterproof watches aren't supposed to be worn in the shower. I don't care myself with my watch and haven't had problems but it is only worth a tenth what your camera is.
You are right. I went to Cuba where the water temps got really warm and had problems with this camera. You'll need to let it cool down and it works again.

Hi Rossmeister
I Hope you're doing well
The SD card used was a Panasonic 6GB Class 4.
And the setting camera was
Video Mode --> HD (Not AVCHD)
Take Care
