  • What program did you use?

  • mila javovich is more of the badass type of character that isnt good for meryl

  • I always imagine Ocelot being played by Donald Sutherland (Jack Bauer's Dad)

And Hugh Jackman as Solid Snake.

Milla Jovovich shoudl be Sniper Wolf

  • gotta say Im All for bale in this Movie- but your Snake/Christian Bale looks WAY TOO WEIRD! LOL man That's Just TOO MUCH XD pretty good Title Sequence though for just some program-

It doesn't look Legit, but pretty Decent.

Oh and I agree with Terminator Zoomout Title- but only if then like a little bit of ember and ash falls beside and goes to a close shot of Bale with a cigar and him getting briefed by the Colonel..who should be played by ANTHONY HOPKINS-MOTHERFUCKAS DIDNT THINK OF THAT DIDYA?

  • @normansmother1 It's a cool idea xD But the idea of this work was to create a title sequence with Zack Snyder style, so it is different of James Cameron's Terminator title sequence. Of course, what you say maybe fit better than this XD. Thanks for the comment!

  • cool

  • I dont know....ppl are bashing this vid but I think the casting is fitting. But we all know the intro to a real Metal Gear Solid would be OVER THE TOP. Just look at the game intro on the psx. But AWESOME attempt

  • cool, i dont like the fonts to much!!

  • Yes, maybe they don't fit very well in the video. Thanks for the comment!

  • thats pretty cool

  • naked snake is very false edit

  • oh dont we all wish. impressive vid man

  • oh dear!!!!! this is awful, 8 out of 10 for effort but to be honest it is pretty shit sorry dude. dont think this will be anything like the real MGS movie sorry to break it to ya

  • I made this for Audiovisual Animation, so this isn't obviusly for the movie. If this is shit, it is your opinion, so thanks for the comment!

  • how really cool

  • very fail

  • watching this cracked me up, that was perfect. Starring Sam Elliot was right on par

  • very nice!!!!!!!!!

  • very good idea for the cast dude, I like ;)

  • Thanks! I'm very glad you like it! The problem is that I only included 3 characters in the video, so there are few actors. Bye!

  • looks great i picture it looking something like this

  • This could actually work although the director should be someone like John Woo, Kathren Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Point Break), James Cameron or even Anton Fuqua (Shooter, Training Day)

  • I think that Zack Snyder isn't a bad director, but it's true that James Cameron it's maybe the best action movies director in our time (Terminator 2 is a good example). And... what about Alfonso Cuarón? It's a shame that no Movie studio would trust this kind of production to this fantastic director.

  • Yes,Zach's a good director but I feel like he gets carried away with the gore & sexy style of his films (not that there's anything wrong with that). As long as it's not Michael Bay (who's good in his own right but is going to make this movie braindead & that we do not want)Yes,Alfonzo's a great director.Children of Men was amazing & while I'm not a Harry Potter fan, his installment in that series was the only film I actually liked.I thought McG did an incredible job with Terminator Salvation

  • Anyway, you got a wonderful cast for this sort of film.

I've liked a few videogame movies (Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever, Hitman, Max Payne) but overall, that genre has been a disappointment

  • Yes, that genre could be much better. I liked "Hitman" as an action movie, and "Resident Evil (1) too", but "Ballistic" and "Max Payne" were a little taken too seriously. Max Payne was a bit borring too (I thought that it would be like the game, with non-stop action), but I loved its visual style! Thanks for comment!

  • Agree completely although Max Payne was going for a dark, dramatic tone as opposed to constant action like the trailers made it appear to be.

I like Ballistic despite the huge negative backlash because it uses actual pyrotechnics & zero CGI animation. Plus, the shootouts were cool.

First Resident Evil was okay but the sequels were like "What the Heck!" honestly. I've never been a fan of the Hitman games but the movie managed to reference the game & make another cool assassin film.

  • But yeah, MGS & Splinter Cell should be the best videogame adaptation.

They need to adapt as much content as possible & then be able to explain it to where non-fans are interested as well.

Plus, the action & stunts better be pretty good as well.

MGS could probably be PG-13 if you took out the bad language. Splinter Cell games are either rated T or M but they're not bloody yet the rating says it has blood. Anyway, it could either be PG13 or R

  • You know a lot about the subject! Maybe they should pick you as the director of the adaptations! haha This would be clearly better than choosing people like Uwe Boll, Who doesn't respect anything and flop deservedly. The Hollywood world is crazy...

  • Nah, then I have to write the script. I would be good with the camera angles & choreographing fight scenes but I would have zero interest in working with actors so what's funny is I'm criticizing filmmakers but I'm not that great of a filmmaker myself.

You, my friend, need to be hired & write the script & make it take the box office by surprise.

Heck, even make it as an indie film & sell it to the Weinstein company.

Never seen any Uwe Boll films but have seen the trailers for his films. Ugh

  • The better thing about a Metal Gear Solid Movie is that Hideo Kojima seems to be very interested in get involved in the project.

Although, in my opinion, Kojima is a bit confusing with his screemplays, he has a great sense of the spectacle. I think that getting him as a director would be very interesting.

By the way, did you make a short film or something like that?

    Greetings from Spain!

  • Ohla, Spain!

No, I've not that Professional (Reference to Christian Bale's meltdown).

Have you heard people online discuss that George Clooney might make a good Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell film?

I hope the makers of the game are involved. I'm not the biggest MGS fan but it's still pretty great!

  • this looks pretty good, although i dont know about zack snyder being the director, : P

but good job though, christian bale would make an awesome snake, and milla jovovich

woild fit perfectly well in this type of film. =]

  • Thanks! Christian Bale always do a good job and it would be interesting to see it in this role.

And, about Zack Snyder, I think he's a perfectionist with the visual aspects (you just have to take a look to Watchmen), so the more important thing in this kind of movie would be de screenplay. Thanks again for the comment!

  • wow ! this is awesome !

  • I'm glad you like it! Thanks for the comment!

  • Wow this looks awesome!!!

  • Thanks! I created this in After Effects for my animation course. There are two more videos about Metal Gear in my channel, but this was 6 years ago or so. Thanks again for the comment!!

  • hey man..not to be an ass, dont call metal gear solid metal gear...Metal Gear is its on 2 games.

  • haha! ok, sorry if it's wrong! But I didn't mention what of the Metal Gear games I'm talking about. Thanks for comment!

  • sorry man.
