  • Getting in over his head? What a choice of words Shatner...lol

  • It got really bad in Season 7. For example, watch the lizard attack segment from Episode 710, or the tongue in bottle segment from 709.

  • I remember this episode!

Man poor Buster I'm so glad he was saved!

  • poor thing. he must have been so scared. i felt so bad when he started whimpering. that is a very responsible kid

  • omg, dogs are my ABSULUTE EVER LASTING FAVORITE ANIMALS NEVER CHANGING!!! poor puppy wuppy

  • poor puppy, he is so cute. Cats and dogs get themselves in the craziest situations

  • The dog got litterally owned by the vent. I bet he was doing trouble the day after anyways XD

  • poor doogie

  • That boy looks a little young to be taking care of a dog but he is very responsible.

  • i'm suprised buster didn't piss himself when the saw was around his head.

  • that is sooo cute

  • Glad the dog is okay and alive. A very smart kid to go and ask for help

  • that dog is so cute

  • I can see my beagle doing this... he's always getting into trouble.

  • Its not funny when a dogs head got stuck in the dryer vent. =(

  • Not funny at the time but it, like many things aren't funny at the time is funny looking back at it.

  • I agree. I had something that wasn't funny at the time but in reality it was funny.

  • Good thing the kid checked on the dog!

And that dog that acted the part was very patient. Usually dogs would panic and jump around if their head was stuck in a hole like that.

And this is a little off-topic, but I LOVE THAT LINOLEUM!

  • Yeah they picked a good dog to play the part. POMG It's amazing how much pets are just like little children! LOL!You can't leave them alone just like u wouldn't leave kids alone. :)

  • AHHHHHHH

    POOR PUPPY!!!!

    AHHHHHHHH!!!!

    sorry,i just love puppies,ESPECIALLY beagles

    beagle babies are ADORABLE!!!

  • What a patient good doggy-actor! Putting up with all that!

  • what is the non emergency number

  • It's a local number that's different in each town/city.

  • 311 in Cincinnati.

  • DC/MD/VA have 411

  • haha that was hilarious poor dog

  • Rescue Non-911

    (for the "non-emergency number")

  • putting warm water was with good intention but the woorst thing that they could have done as warm dialates the muscles the blood vessels and the tissues - glad though the puppy made it out ok and the kid got there in time

    Marc in NYC

  • that happened to my dog Fozzy once |D except it was in a futon, not a vent

  • Cute dog! almost looks the the one i have. and my pup was sitting here watching this with me..

good that that pup made it tho all that woof

  • thats a funny dog

  • Poor beagie baby.

  • poor dog, man what you chattin' about huh, devil, shutup and stop bringing agony to dis world (onley joking but still a very good stunt(!).)

  • Buster just got his head busted through the wall. (Bad pun, I know)

  • Well, you cant blame a dog for being curious. Everyone is curious. I dont really see how Buster being stuck is funny because he was being suficated. Thats not right. And, if your head was stuck in the wall would you be laughing? I didnt think so.

  • i know people can be mean

  • And they say curiosity almost killed the cat.

  • undeniallynicky, he said that he took the fuckin dog walks and shut the hell up

  • well the dog was prolly bored. thats why it started makin messes

lol that looks so hilarious how he looks wen he is stuck, but sad!

  • poor dog! i hope that now people would now make sure that there is no way that this could happen by making sure that there is no open space in thier house.

  • Poor dog. That boy must have never taken him for any walks. The dog needs to get out and get exercise. That's why it was tearing apart the house and trying to break out.

  • mike always took buster for a walk when we came over.

  • when he came over

  • if his people were on vacation he may have been trying to look for them. It's a sort of Trama, different dogs for different actions. My dog quits eating when we go on vacation and sulks alot

  • behavoiral issues with dogs are always fixed by walks

  • WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT DOGS

  • alot more then you think and don't yell at me

  • no!!!! not a u, u idiot(!)

  • That dog was so cute animals will surprise you. One of our cats when he was younger jumped ontop of the water heater in the laundry room and end up falling behind it. Luckily he was young enough to pull him up by the collar with a coat hanger without hurting him

  • looks like a mixed breed

  • that kid is so gonna be a vet!

  • This is why you don't leave a beagle alone in the house for hours on end! They are very intelligent and curious... Put the dog in a good keenel so he can't get into anything!

  • BEAGLES RULE! They are very curious

  • buster is damn lucky but who is gonna pay for the damages to the house?

  • maybe the firefighters maybe they wont notice

  • I would say the owners probably paid for damages to the house.

  • I think that the owners of the house didn't mind just as long as their dog was okay.

  • lol damn dogs

  • do you hate dogs?

  • i do

  • how rude

  • why is it rude, isn't he just saying what his likes and dislikes are? should he lie and say he likes dogs even though he doesn't just so it doesn't hurt your feelings?

  • everybody says 'poor dog' but if that was a wolf in the wild and that was a hole in a tree it would simply be evolution in action. that dog was just plain dumb. you think it would notice the point where the hole started pushing on its windpipe.

  • that was mean dont laugh

  • poor dog

  • omg i am sooooooo mean.

i laughed when i first saw the dog. but now i feeeeeel bad

  • me too

  • Well, it did look sort of funny in a way. The older brother thought so, since he said it looked like someone had mounted the dog's head on the wall. But yeah, I felt sorry for the poor dog. Who knows how long he had been stuck in the vent before Mike discovered him.

  • rescue 911 is up to 433 votes ,for dvd to come out ,go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote

  • Poor dog

  • its sad and funny at the same time when you first see him

  • OMG poor dog!

  • dogs shouldn't be left alone at all.

  • That dog is a moron.

  • o geez!

  • WHAT A DORK

  • its just like my dog

  • MY DOG IS Never getting stuck

  • what a dunb dog.

  • Whos the "dunb" one now?

  • I could have sworn that "it's not funny, he's choking" line was cut out when I watched this segment one day. Either on Discovery Health or Odyssey.

  • Yeah, they cut that part out on Odyssey. Most of that segment is the CBS version, but I had to splice on the Odyssey version at the beginning because the tape of the CBS version cut it out. I had to splice it before that part, because it wasn't in the syndicated version.

  • My parents have a dacsund. But now after seeing this segment, it makes me want to get my own beagle!! I thought Dacsunds were cute, but after this segment, Beagles may be cuter...

  • it's spelled Dachshund

  • aww what a cute dog.

  • how did that happen what did he do

  • He took the tube off the dryer vent and stuck his head through.

  • here's the strange sounding title for this segment, "Breakout Beagle" because the beagle doesnt have hives but gets his head stuck.

  • Perhaps because his head "breaks out" of the hole in the wall..

  • The beagle tried to break out, it just didn't succeed.

  • How can a cute dog like Buster manage to squeeze through a dryer like that!

  • I never trusted thoughs dogs.
