It's usually a mixture. They don't commonly see it as a distinction between "legal" and "illegal". They mostly believe it's against "my people" or "Mexicans". Trust me on this. I've heard it hundreds of times in So. Calif. during the past two and a half years.

Illegal immigrants does not immediately translate into "latino" for you to be calling anyone rascist. Just because someone wants our borders and counrty respected and protected does not make them rascist. Illegals do not have a right to be here.
