And there is a certain joy of being an MC that Lupe has brought back to the game. Its like back in the day, when dudes just like to freestyle and didn't expect anything from it, just trying to have fun. I feel that vibe from Lupe, like he is one of those guys that does stuff because he wants to do it and because its fun to him. I think Hip-Hop/Rap has kind of lost that spirit and Lupe is one of the MC's trying to bring it back.

That is pretty much the kind of MC Lupe has come to be. Its like a breath of fresh air to have such an MC because most of these dudes are caught up in themselves and don't take the time to see how their music is affecting the people around them or the world. Yeah, those two need to get on something together, but I have noticed that with all of the featured Lupe has on his CD, there is not very many and if there is, its either gonna be somebody from FNF (Matthew Santos, GemStones, Nikki Jean, Bishop G, Sarah Green) or somebody like Kid Cudi, someone who is not well known, kinda from the underground scene.
