what if you eat both an apple and an orange? is that too many carbs? or do you benefit from both the intense and long lasting energy?

But i've heard that intake of carbs/food before workouts, makes it so it takes 20 minutes of cardio to actually start losing fat is that true?

depends how much you eat, an apple for example is pretty light and nothing compared to eating a meal.
