Until he got financial backing from elites here in the U.S. and in Britain, then suddenly, he had the means to and the money to turn the German economy around. Again without elite backing, Hitler would have never come to power. He was made to serve a purpose, which was to counterbalance the Soviets, who were gaining momentum.

This is historically accepted fact, and proven by the "Von Knieriem documents" discovered during the Nuremberg Trials. Standard oil also refined special fuel and sold it to the Nazis during the war. Without this fuel, they would have been unable to fly their planes. In fact, without the Rockefellers and other elites, the Nazi's would have never come to power.

Seriously, now, Hitler was a creation of super-nationalism in Germany and conservative social trends that created Fascism in Italy as an opposition to liberal capitalism and leftism. There is not some kind of global conpiracy of Illuminati or some such rot that orchestrates all the social moves. There is a political and economic elite, but they don't sit about nefariously planning to create Nazis.

Lots of police armed with sticks. A few carrying tear gas launchers. Protesters waving signs and talking on bull-horns. Some protest marches go down the city streets. I notice a lack of molotov cocktail and brick throwing that happens elsewhere.

Maybe the Pittsburgh city council saw the mayhem that happened elsewhere when the G20 hold their meetings, and didn't want to have riots?
