I think what it means by fastest accelerating coaster is that even though some coasters can go faster at faster times, this one can get to a fast speed in a split second unlike coasters that build up on their launch until they get to their top speed. It is hard to explain.

* Kingda Ka - 0-128 mph (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.

* ring°racer - 0-135 mph (217.3 km/h) in 2.5 seconds (THEORETICAL)

* Dodonpa - 0-107 mph (172.2 km/h) in 1.8 seconds (WORLD'S FASTEST ACCELERATION)

Dodonpa has easily the fastest acceleration on any coaster in the world, at 2.7g.

Desert Race (coaster in the video), has pathetic acceleration, 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds = >1.4g
