haha that's awesome i play Bb tuba and im a 6th grade girl :) just started this year... got any tips 4 me?

I have a Bb tuba too! The problem is, it's really tall, and I can't sit in the right position because my mouth can't read the mouthpiece, so I cross my legs to lower the tuba, which is NOT gonna be okay with my teacher. Any suggestions?

@ohanamaggie wow, this video is old haha. ummm well what i used to have to do was use a separate stand for the tuba that sat in front of the chair so my height wouldn't affect the position i held it at. then i would sit on the yellow pages so i could reach the mouthpiece. :)

You could also do some American Patriotic marches. You would do those very well.

but you should do classical in my opinion :D with those sorts of valves you can get a smoother sound, you would be perfect
