  • That was rectoseal #5. It is an oilbased product never use it on rubber gaskets or plastic.

  • Hi, I also would like to know what kind of sealant did you use, although I see no responses.... I installed a new flush system (dual and came with a new gasket but a have a small leak.... thanks!

  • i find this videotoo expansive and trashy for the internet

  • yeah, what kind of sealant?

  • Cool! I recently pushed too hard on my toilet while laying tiles. I found the leak so I bought new washers and a gasket. Then I sealed around the entry with liquid nails. Then I sealed the inside along with the washers with waterproof putty and rustoleum paint. I then placed a 2x4 behind the toilet using liquid nails to seal it. No more leak. I hope it lasts for a hundred years.

  • That was weird but at the same time amazing I really don't know wha to make of this.

  • What liquid sealant do you recommend?

    Thanks
