I'm not sure if heat was involved for this tutorial but you need to heat (not cook) the mixture to ensure the ingredients are completely blended together. In addition, I would leave out the essential oil, especially something as strong and herbal as rosemary; EOs are not really needed for this treatment.

BAHahahahahah... When you sniffed that mixture you made a face like it stank... Then then after watching more of the video you didn't look all that happy... lol
LOL @ the faces. im glad you did this review of using less oils, my oils seem to do the trick too. i never heard of the caramel treatment until now. i follow your blog now too
@Nitra813 Thanks for following :) But I am going to stick to my oils in my conditioner, because if the reason why this recipe did not work for me is because I used too little oil, then its really the oil doing all the work and the molasses and banana are a messy additive that I can do without.
@DollBabyBeautyTv I couldn't tell ya. It actually made my hair hard. Maybe I just need to purchase one of the store bought treatments since those are supposed to make your hair soft. Check out the link in the description box to my blog. A little more info is found there.

Have you used raw honey instead? It's so much better than pasteurized honey.
Trader JOe's and wholefoods have raw honey, most healthfood stores do. Thanks for posting :)
