go shorter, it will make the receding hairline at the front even less noticeable, and imo would suit you more

grats though, seeing as im nealry at the same stage at only 22 as well but ive still got enough hair left for it not to be too noticeable but im planning on maybe buzzing it off this summer..undecided atm
