  • great video. thanks.

  • Very impressive video on the subject of commercial photography! It was really cool to see how you and your team were able to overcome the challenges of shooting in such a difficult environment.

I would have freaked out due to claustrophobia!

  • Thanks so much for posting this a very helpful and interesting video. I recently had to do product shots of people working in confined spaces using similar equipment to here - wish I had made as good a job of it.

  • Was there no issues with using electronic flash in a coal mine and the risk from a coalgas explosion?

  • I'm surprised too, most cameras are equipped with flashes that can cause an explosion. Very few are safe for this particular job.

  • Great photos and it's cool how your able to come up with such great lighting and photo ideas in a place like that.

  • Always a pleasure to watch. One of those things where you dn't get paid to post these, but from those of us who watch these I want to thank you. I read a few of the photo mags every month and subscribe to a few online groups as well, and it is becoming harder and harder to find information and people who actually think about creation and composition vs "Photoshop."

  • very nice! saw the shots on flickr. this is a very useful information. thanks for posting videos like these! :))

  • Always very informative. Really great to see the "behind the scenes" of a successful pro. Thanks for taking the time to make/post these!
