One of their best; listened to this off The Thieving Magpie for years since a teenager, i imagine the sleazier side of soho when listening to this...but their is something else i can't quite explain...very deep. Also Fish seems to play with certain lyrics slighty on the live version which fits the piece.
i agree with @highlander i also love pink floyd they are music masters but every band or music has its level or good sounding sound you can t compare them
yeah and the guitar player he really puts al of his soul in the play he s really good the whole band its just great stuff i m a great fan of them i am from 71 so i had the privilage of seen them and of course hear them .. fish you rock man, totally :-)
This music reminds me of the time when my mother and I moved to Berlin. I was 5 or 6 years old and she was listening to Marillion all the time. Now I'm listening to that kind of music. Thanks, Mommy :-D
chelsea monday thats a great song steve is great on the guitar and fish makes marillion he did not only wrote the lyrics but also the music t was a great band greetzz from the netherlands
@Highlander01 aaa no.marrilion isn't pink floyd my friend.in my opinion the best songs from marrilion are keyleigh, lavander and. misplaced childhood.i tryed to listen to marrilion but thats all i can like.but pink floyd is eternal.all their albums are pure gold.so they just cant compare :)
piękna ballada Marillion to jak klasyk nie da się od tej muzyki uwolnić im więcej słuchasz tym bardziej nie możesz sie o tego uwolnić Marillion the best band in the world!!!!!
I was 17 at the time lived in kettering northamptonshire 1983 my first girlfriend Paula Preedy got me onto this album i didnt get it at first......... but has become one of my favourite albums of all time.
@zeegor13 - I was 25 at the time, in the US Navy and stationed in Iceland. I went on a holiday with a friend to NY and found the album at a record store. What caught my eye, was that every song was over 6 - 7 minutes long. I brought it back with to Iceland and everyone loved it! I got stationed in Rota Spain 84, and took a holiday to London to see them at the Hammersmith. Saw them for 3 nights and then saw Hawkwind for the next 3 nights. Script is my favorite debut album.
Que magnifica Viagem Paulo Moreira

@0767869087 Well, thats your opinion, buddy. Personally, I've never been a fan of Pink Floyd, with the exception of 2 or 3 songs.
