There are then close to 200 contradictions in the New Testament and no contemporaneous accounts of jesus (and before I read the name Josephus he was being born when jesus was dying). There have been hundreds, if not thousands of gods over time. Where did they all come from? The golden rule (do unto others) pre-dated the old testament and is found in the analects of Confucious. So morality coming from the bible is nonsense too. But, where did all of those other gods come from? Were they man made?

While archaeologists have never proven the existance of Solomon's Temple there are chronicles of an old Jebusite sanctuary pre-dating the OT "epoch". In the church I grew up in so many of the girls looked the part, they wore long skirts and long hair but led promiscuous lives. The pentecostal church, just like the pharisees, puts emphasis on outward appearance and not inner holiness. They think the way you dress and whether or not women cut their hair is holiness, just like the pharisees of old that Jesus accused of being whited sepulchres full of dead mens bones.

@ReligionIsSophistry That verse refers to a woman shaving her head bald as a man, which is why the verse, "A woman's hair is her glory." having nothing to do with the length, but that women don't naturally bald, so neither should she shave her head bald as a man. You have to learn to discern the rest of the scriptures to get it's true meaning.

@sureshot7mag that may be true for some, but not always for others. Don't blanket it on kids who are still babes in the lord and have no idea what they believe. I believe in both inward and outward showing of faith. faith without works is dead. the inside must be made clean before the outside as Jesus himself said. That takes time. So instead of judging those that fell in their walk with God, maybe you should be praying for them.
