I always wondered why the developers of Budokai 3 didn't take the electricity for SSJ2 and SSJ3 and implement that into Budokai 3. Any character that has a lightning aura in Budokai 3 it looks like a weird invisible ring if you follow it, like a small invisible halo around their body. It doesn't look natural like the lightning aura in Budokai 2, I've just always wondered why they didn't continue that with B3

@pojomon yea but it doesn't look more anime like, watch the scenes when Gohan emerges as a SSJ2, ti's an electric aura like in Budokai 2, not some retarded electron ring like in Budokai 3. Same with SSJ3 Goku, it appears as a ring of electricity, but they aren't rotating around him like they show in B3, it's exactly like in Budokai 2, it's a surge of electricity around the person's body and it slowly dissipates and reemerges. Trust me, watch Goku first emerge as a SSJ3 then decide

@sprtsfanatic1 exactly what im saying, Budokai one was just a fighting DBZ game, When B2 came out, the characters were traced out and details like in the anime but still keep the fighting style and moves from B1, And when B3 came out, the made it even more anime like blowing up the planet, adding teleport feature. the aura thing was nice but wouldnt have fit B3 but at the same time would of been nice to have.

@pojomon ok I gotcha, yea that's true. It's funny, Budokai 3 is my favorite game thus far b/c of the epicness of the super moves and how much it looks like the anime and I probably spent more hours than I care to really know playing it in middle school. I think it would have fit well with the B3 shading, they could have done more but overall it's hard to complain with it. Minus the storyline, which they had continued the format that they had in B1. Hell no game has come close to that

I think the budokai series could make a comeback if they really tried, maybe make the engine a bit more technical, and ability to combo into ultimates, etc. loved all 3 budokais.
