I know it sounds stupid, but if your working on a budget it really is a great way to do it. It's also cheaper to replace and repair if they get damaged

The night sights are Sig brand (Siglite). I'm sure they are just about the same as every other night sight out there. Just like you said with the Kimber sights, when they run out of "juice" then you still have the three white dots. By the way, just wanted to let you know that because of your videos, I did go out and purchase a Sig Elite Stainless; I got a P220 .45 ACP. Thanks for the info on them, I was trying to find out about them and you came through.

XS sights are really easy to put on also. I got a used rear XS sight for my G27 and I didn't need a tool to put the sight on..... I don't think I would bother with any other kids of sights..... now I have to find out if they my XS sights for a 1911 :)

Cool video. I like my coffee about the same way. I agree with you on semi dark vs pitch black.. The only advantage in pitch black with night sights is you know the layout of your house and where you're aiming you have a good mental picture of where it is in relation to your layout but if you can't see your target it means dick. My CZ sp01 came with em and i was like WTF when it was $100 more than the 75b until i saw it. I love em, also bought the XS sights for my G22.

even in pitch black the night sights are useful if you end up shooting by muzzle flash,which will crush your night vision,but quality night sights are the first thing that shows and helps to re-acquire target knowing more about your gun is always better,as for shooting in the dark no target id.you say well if your in the brush among a herd of wild pigs it's pretty helpful as a final measure and actually works with a modicum of dumb luck and basic shooting skills man 2 pig 0,love that carnitas

Pete you said it well, if you cant see your target I dont believe night sights help.....My duty weapon has night sights and in the street where there are street lights and such I think its ok,cause you usually arent in a pitch dark situation. In reality though if you have to make a quick shoot you wont use the sights. As far as home defense I usually use a light and laser combo for pitch black situations.

I can't say for certain, but my Sig Sauer came from the factory with Sig night sights and they have the same markings, but only on the front sight.
