Can anybody tell me HOW THIS WAS RECORDED?

I have this Amplug and I've been trying to record connecting it to POD xt live (as soundcard only, connected to PC via usb) and record (via Reaper) but without luck.

I would be VERY thankful for any advise.

I was thinking... Wow......this guy can play almost as good as I do....he does do the Satch stuff scary near the master himself tho...but whats with the hairy arms....? Damn...he also does the "Satch Hairy Arm Trick" better than I do...!!

Hmm well much as I do love Satch I bought the Satriani amPlug today and playing an RG750 through it.....sounds very very average to me (and I`m not talking about the way I play smartarses). There isnt nearly enough gain available, sounds ok to play something fairly mellow like Cryin or Always with me....but not much else.

Hi, for some time I have a pedal Roland Boss GT-5 and it really is very good, but I find it hard Presets new sounds. I'm looking for a patch or preset to get a sound similar to Joe Satriani and another similar to Steve Vai. You think you could help me do that? I would be grateful as I need to work on some shows. I think if it was the real JS in the video, they would at least show his face, maybe even get him to say something... But they really did a great job finding someone whose body looks like Satriani's, and even imitates his usual moves quite well =D

Anyway, the new JS AmPlug is a great little toy for practicing, I'm seriously considering getting one.

That's a great sound! I would suggest in the "offseason", doing a "home video" to get more people to see you... even its just noodling, it would be a nice little treat to your fans, and also get more eyeballs on you as well.

yeah I see vox has yet to make this adaptable to all type of guitar inputs my js1 has an angled type input i had to return the amp plug back to SAM ash.also i see Joe has changed his guitar input to fit,this guitar looks like his older squiggle's from the 80's amazing what a silver paint pen can do. @drone713 Yes, it's him. He has 3 youtube acct's. Websatch is supposed to be the one for his solo career. g3joe, obviously was for the G3 concerts constantly going on. Satrianifr is his french coworker responsible for his foreign tours and foreign advertising, I believe. But anywho, as far as Joe is concerned, a youtube acct is just another youtube acct, and for that matter, I agree. Joe could go on any of the three and it would make no difference in advertising.
