@datzDope rwd car and ESP off..if you are a begginer, try a parking lot with a lot of empty space and a wet ground.. that´s how you learn. when the control of the tail is lost you must hit the gas smothly to control the movement.. is one of the things that you learn by doing..Be Safe!!

I'm in opinion that you can drive over the speed limits as long as it is not as you said "drive like you stole it" and you REALLY have some driving skills. even avoiding danger is not always driving 30miles/hr, because even at 15mils/hr you can seriously hurt someone. its all about common sens.

It has simply an extension of ESP working on rear wheels, the brake stops the inner curve wheel when it slips, but there is no torque transfer, the differential is the simple open one.

So don't say bullshit only cause the car is yours, please!

Thats absolutely correct. Its a good try but is no substitute for a proper mechanical diff.

As you say it doesnt actively divert torque to the outside wheel but merely stops the inside one spinning quite so much. With an electronic "diff" the wheel with grip will only ever have up to half of the torque availible.

The electronic "diff" is a compromise and is not a proper mechanical diff.

Thats why the M-cars have the M-Diff which is a mechanical and electronic system.
