Ret and even Protret pallies are rare to find above 2800 in arenas, whereas Arms warriors are ABUNDANT in multiple team combinations! Think about all aspects of the game before you post something like this, thanks buddy! :)

Pvp isn't half the game, at best it's 5% of the game. Blue posters have mentioned a few times the amount of people who even engage in pvp at least once a week, the number of people who do arenas, and the number of people who seriously do arenas.

@RawChristianSuperman 50% of the game is about pvp they have to keep classes balanced as much as they can warriors had much more peel ability stuns interupts making them a very good class paladins merely have hammer of justice and repentance. Pve Class mechanics are nothing as your fighting a computer programmed to lose to you its a race of how much you can dps while pvp you will use of alot of abilities to mitigate damage, peel/tureet specific classes down.
Reduce that by 45 and even that's being generous. The game has very little to do with it at all. Blue posters on the WoW forums have answered this a few times, exactly how many people even engage in pvp at all.
@RawChristianSuperman Fury and ret pver are both horrible dps classes and a fury warrior with 100% armor pen can easily out dps a rest paladin in Best in Slot gear look at paragon/ensidias dpsers. And your completely missing the point of why classes have diff abilities yes palys have good buffs but fury warriors give 5% crit which is needed in a good 25 man raid setup classes are designed so in raids you can have multiple buffs giving you the biggest advantage. << PVE post last one was pvp.
A Warrior far outperforming a Ret Pally is only as of the ICC patch allowing Warriors only to reach 100% ArP. Something NEVER before attainable in any tier, and now that 4.0.1 has been released, it's gone forever, we will see where Warriors land beyond here.

Its obvious, Blizzard has a loving relationship with Paladins.Even in D2, Paladins are OP. Its no wonder they are the only class that can EZmode Uber Tristam. Compare it to warriors in WOW. Warriors are supposed to be the master melee/tanking class, because melee is what they specialize in. Paladins are part time religous duty, part time melee. Warriors are full time melee, yet Paladins can do everything a warrior can do, but better. Its pathetic.

The so called "super man" paladin ability, divine shield can EASILY be countered by a great warrior ability called shattering throw, my friend ;P By the way, lets have a look at the paladin specs. Holy: Sacred shield on MT, beacon of light on OT, and spam holy light. Prot: prot paladins have a very bland rotation, and with macros can be executed with the push of only two buttons. Ret: hit the prettiest button which isnt on cooldown. Paladins are VERY easy to play, in fact. TOO easy to play.
When you mention breaking Divine Shield you are talking about pvp...I say it about twice a day...including having it plastered on the description. This is not about pvp.
As far as being easy to play, that's really not the issue either.
Yeah, what do you expect from the most populated class across all realms. There is a reason Paladins are 1st, whereas Warriors are 5th, and it aint just cause Paladins are simpler.
Warriors and Paladins are both melee classes, in fact, they can both wear identical plate gear and weapons (except holy). They can both also be tanks, with similar threat and targetted moves, (with more in common than DK tanks or Bear Druids) and until ICC sets came out, they had nearly the same Tier stats.
With all of that in mind, why would I compare Mages to Paladins? Warriors and Paladins are much closer.

Quite alot in common, you've got your melee AoE, melee single strike, your multi-target tank, tank AoE, tank damage reduction, and pretty bland DoTs across the board. Paladins are just lacking on interrupts and stuns, whereas Warriors die much...MUCH quicker, because their self preservation is completely absent.
well in terms of tanking, Prot warriors have to be top single target aggro holders. I play a feral druid and its balls hard to keep up with his TPS and i do 50% more actual damage lol

I never said a Paladin was best anything, what I said for those who paid attention, was that Paladins have much more survivability than Warriors, and have legitimate benefits of including in a group or raid. Playing a Paladin is also simply easier.
AND I never said Warriors didn't have more dps than Paladins, but rewind back to T10, 9, 8, or 7 gear and MANY classes can outdps a Warrior.

It is a fact (not an opinion, not a hypothesis) that Paladins have a ton of sheer survivability over Warriors at every level. Paladins also bring abilities and buffs to a raid that no Warrior could ever hope to. Warriors bring nothing to a raid that can not be filled by other classes.
This also is not about PvP, because the game is not balanced in any way 1v1 so brag about arenas to some latch key Korean dropouts.

BUT my friend and i are geared tank speced tank and are the same level. i am a prot warrior and my friend is a prot pally and on single targets i always have complete aggro with devastate shield slam revenge and heroic strike always keeps my aggro at the top but im not dissing pallys at all my friend would and has kicked my ass in a duel but blizzard would never make one class better than the other.

Praytell how is a Warrior tank miles ahead of the Paladin tank. Nobody EVER needs a Warrior in a raid, period. The hp buff is worthless, and Trauma only benefits 2 other classes.
Dashing twice--means nothing in pve. 3 consecutive crits from 5 gcds and rage dump?-Don't bother. Counter?-worthless. Spell reflect?-marginal. MS?-only effective on about 2 bosses. Then I must wonder about how little you actually paid attention to the video, and how little you actually play WoW. I have five 80s, you can have all the skill in the world, and sometimes it won't matter because you're the wrong class.
I have two main characters on WoW, A level 80 Resto Shaman and a level 80 Protection Warrior. When I'm healing on my Shaman I always feel better healing a Paladin Tank, and while playing on my Warrior I know that the healers would rather I be a Paladin. I still like playing Warrior over Paladin, but that's just my opinion.
I do have a level 80 Pally, as well as a Rogue, Mage, Death Knight, Warlock, Druid and Hunter. I've been playing for a while and I say warriors need a little present.
You fail to go into deeper explanation of the Stances. Considering our defensive stance is better then your Defensive aura. Who cares if ours doesn't help our teammates. We are the only ones who should be getting hit. You also left out the talent Armored to Teeth. Which gives us 3 attack power for every 108 armor.
So you're telling me that taking 5% less damage is better than giving 25 people 1200 armor points? Raid much? Not to mention that the Paladin tanking ability Righteous Fury reduces damage by 6% in Prot. Or that multiple Paladins can have multiple auras up, which resist becomes extremely helpful in certain encounters.
let me tell you something. lvl 80 warrior tank geared 5500 gs = 55 k hp unbuffed , lvl 80 tank pally 5500 gs = 55 k hp full buffed. ;) u think about the rest

Warrios are better then paladins, if you're = gear, warriors still do more damage. You haven't experienced the sight of a skilled PvE warrior, and in PvP they're way better. Watch Swifty PvP, and Klinda PvE, and you'll see your "OH LITTLE GOD PALADINS". Paladin's can heal, that's why they have shields. If paladin's could not heal they would be shit, and if they didn't have holy spec they'd have something way different, paladins are garbage compared to warriors, you're just bad.

3. (and this is a tough one) think REAL hard about what I'm saying in this video. What the actual issues are, and it's not dps, and it's not pvp, because you failed BADLY to see what over 17,000 people have seen.
Your comment is simply incorrect on so many levels, but most importantly, this is not a pvp video, nor do I care about the relatively small crowd that are junkies of it.
PvE is hard? I see plenty of warriors with shadowmourne, so somebody is throwing them raid invites. warrior still are, in most cases, much more desirable in arena than anything but a holy paladin. you don't get to cry until cata. in the meantime, you should probably get used to prot pvp, as arms is going to hit like a wet noodle in cata.
There are 79 levels and then countless heroics to go through first. ICC gear is the very end of the game, and its 100% ArP Tier that only now allows Warriors to top dps charts will be removed in Cataclysm.
This video was never about dps, nor was it about pvp. I have to remind people of this about twice a day, and sometimes spell out the obvious conclusions.

from a healer point of view, talking pvp now... i would rather have a pala sitting on me anytime over a warrior. from a pve side of it i find warriors tanks my fav to be healing. thats just my thing im not saying whats better.
Even I would agree with you on that for pvp, Paladins are a pain to kill, but they lack the burst damage and healing reduction of Warriors. In pve I would rather have a GOOD Paladin who knows how to use all of his abilities, like HoP (on someone else), DP, Plea, hits Divine Intervention before a wipe, and keeps his own SS up.
The problem is, Paladins are easier to play, which makes for alot of mediocre players, whereas Warriors are forced to be good.
Because strict interrupts rarely make a difference in PvE, which is all this video is about. In levelling, questing, etc, you rarely find a use for more than 1 at a time. And in dungeons, most of the casts that you wish you could interrupt can't be, and ones that you can interrupt wouldn't matter.
Lay on hands is a bit much, sacred shield isn't great for tanking either, good for healing pallies of course....and mentioning the heals of a pally doesn't need discussion...and Dks, are not horribly Overpowered lmao there is a thing called skill, i play a DK i've cleared all ICC except a few heroic modes and some fury warriors beat me, no big deal, i don't see why ur going through so much trouble trying to prove that pallies are so OP =/ and yes i got a 80 warrior and pally aswell as DK & rogue
SS is great considering any Paladin can use it or put it on anyone else, it's no PWS, but it does offer a slight buff for damage mitigation. The heals of Holy Paladin can be insane for tank healing or 2s, but even Ret and Prot can keep themselves alive out in the world or in bgs. Something that Warriors can never attain.
DKs are still OP when it comes to surviving, which is what this breaks down to when comparing Warriors to Paladins. Warriors just don't have it.
Dev, and ret aruas arn't too good, the resistance can be helpful and the crusader aura im not even needing to comment on that but i hope you realise that so much of this is an opinion of you...some fury warriors are fucking amazing some are ok and some are bad, same with ret pallies....and the warrior tanks are great at survival, and u talked a bit about pally tanking, devine shield loses all their threat and might wipe the raid...IMO i think both classes are pretty well balanced
It's not simply opinion, it's crunching numbers, they are not balanced at all. Paladins have a ton of survivability over Warriors and when choosing between the 2, well, just check out the global population numbers.
Divine Shield can be put up momentarily and removed just to save you from a sudden explosion, AoE, channeled attack etc. you don't have to leave it up and have a boss run all over the place.

Why would I include Shattering Throw? A move designed solely for pvp vs Mages and Paladins, when this is not a pvp video. You may as well ask why I didn't include Seal of Justice.
Ineed, shouts could be longer so they could benefit raids. we could you more rage when changing stances. but then again, you for to mention our OP reflect and bladestorm :) as for regenation.. it should either heal more % or instantly heal as DK's..
Reflect can be removed by the weakest of casts, if you're referring to pvp. And Bladestorm can now sadly be disarmed. But yeah the self heals or auto heals of a Warrior are so piddly little its ridiculous.
@RawChristianSuperman I so agree with you! i hate shamans "reflect remover" wind shear should not be reflectable. cause everytime ur locked in roots by a ele shammy you will prolly not reflect anything usefull
Any little puny instant cast destroys spell reflect from any caster, and it does diddly squat to AoEs. But Mages can literally fire their most powerful fire or frost shot, have it even bounced back, and completely absorbed by a ward, or in extreme cases a fire mage can even send the reflect back at the Warrior a 2nd time.
Destro Locks and Shadow Priests can also negate their own spells like the Mages, and as you mentioned the harmless Wind Sheer whic always annoys.
@RawChristianSuperman Correct, ive seen other classes try to remove reflect with non hurting skills. they should remake reflect like in BC, it worked better. sometimes i can get polymophed even with reflect on it.. WTF they should either make it charges OR give it 3 second last BUT it wouldnt be remove by anything until the 3 seconds passes by.
It needs charges or simply reflects everything for X seconds. That would make it truly useful. As of now even in PvE, it's only really powerful use since launch of WotLK has been in sending Shadow Crash back at the spellflingers in AK. They were a 10 second cast that used to kill tanks on heroic, and needed extra focused dps or CC to prevent it. I personally love sending it back at them and watching them kill themselves with it.
you really only gave the paladin side to this...and paladins are so boring to do everything with...warriors you actually have to try in order to be good, making them more fun
I still completely disagree with this video however, a paladin may be able to beat a warrior 1v1, however, a warrior has a MS effect, effective stuns if prot, charge to pursue hunters and the like, shield reflect for mages etc etc, a paladin has nothing of those, hence the reason they have heals and an "oh shit!" bubble.
Not to mention the fact that you'll be just a "nab pala" if you play a paladin. Warriors however are an honest class.
Why disagree on pvp with a video that says nothing about pvp? I have to say it on average once per day that this is straight PvE issues, yet people continue to miss it.
That is the furthest thing from the truth. Remember there are 79 levels to go through before reaching 80, and countless heroics before obtaining the pinnacle of gear. It is much much easier to do it as a Paladin. Even at 80 their survivability is much greater than a Warriors, only a few patches ago did LoH start causing forbearance.
@newtubeusername just so u know. warriors cant charge while rooted or frozen. our silence is only in berserker stance. reducing armor is only used by tanks who use devastate. yes sunder armour is for dps but no one uses it. takes too much rage and another thing is paladins bearly run out of mana. specially rets so i think you should test a warrior idc if its in private server but do it cause most of your are wrong

I am an avid pvper I have 2 toons over 2.2 rating DK/Warrior both are hell in comparison to a palidan for leveling and a DK can never take down an equaly geared Hpally unless the pally is afk. I hope that a shadowmourne will change that but having to get a legendary weapon to make it possible to take down one class is rediculous

It all depends on the gear. Currently Warriors can top the DPS charts due to the 100% ArP provided by 264-277 gear. No tier of plate has ever stacked ArP, and this stat will be removed in Cataclysm, then we'll see where Warriors land, considering Paladins will get temporary Holy Minions as well.
@RawChristianSuperman Warriors need ArP due to most of their damage being physical, paladins rely on mainly holy damage which armour has no effect on.
ArP is getting removed in Cataclysm, and Warriors have survived without it since vanilla. It's just one of the lesser common stats that is being removed, like MP5.

Eh, not really if you're in pvp gear. The only thing ArP mitigates is the damage reduction strictly from armor points. It doesn't ignore things like resilience, but as you may know, someone in PvE gear dies rather...quickly. So going into pvp wearing that awesome ICC plate may get you killed before you get those hits off.
@RawChristianSuperman Ofcourse it was an exaggeration, but I play a rogue, 30% damage reduction from armour, 25% or so from resilience, so its like being hit by a warrior with no ArP whilst wearing PvE gear, without all the extra damage output from myself, so it still hurts a hell of a lot.

As of right now, only Blood Elves cannot be Warriors. And it's funny, for being the one class that nearly every race can be, Warriors are 5th on the ranking of WoW population according to the warcraftrealms site. Paladins in an overwhelming 1st, (tied with DKs).

Fury Warriors out dps Ret Paladins in PvE, and I know you don't like hearing about PvP but seriously, that's half the game:
Ret and even Protret pallies are rare to find above 2800 in arenas, whereas Arms warriors are ABUNDANT in multiple team combinations! Think about all aspects of the game before you post something like this, thanks buddy! :)

Pvp isn't half the game, at best it's 5% of the game. Blue posters have mentioned a few times the amount of people who even engage in pvp at least once a week, the number of people who do arenas, and the number of people who seriously do arenas.
And this isn't about dps either.

And your completely missing the point of why classes have diff abilities yes palys have good buffs but fury warriors give 5% crit which is needed in a good 25 man raid setup classes are designed so in raids you can have multiple buffs giving you the biggest advantage. << PVE post last one was pvp.

Rend, Shield Slam, Shield Bash, Pummel, Cleave, Whirlwind, Heroic Strike.
At most, 4 of these moves can be used at any one time due to stances.
Arms gains Mortal Strike and Bladestorm
Fury-Bloodthirst, Deathwish
Prot-Conc, Shockwave, Devastate, Last Stand
So you basically have 6-7 moves a Warrior can use at any given time. Quite alot less than 5,000.

Its obvious, Blizzard has a loving relationship with Paladins.Even in D2, Paladins are OP. Its no wonder they are the only class that can EZmode Uber Tristam. Compare it to warriors in WOW. Warriors are supposed to be the master melee/tanking class, because melee is what they specialize in. Paladins are part time religous duty, part time melee. Warriors are full time melee, yet Paladins can do everything a warrior can do, but better. Its pathetic.

The so called "super man" paladin ability, divine shield can EASILY be countered by a great warrior ability called shattering throw, my friend ;P By the way, lets have a look at the paladin specs. Holy: Sacred shield on MT, beacon of light on OT, and spam holy light. Prot: prot paladins have a very bland rotation, and with macros can be executed with the push of only two buttons. Ret: hit the prettiest button which isnt on cooldown. Paladins are VERY easy to play, in fact. TOO easy to play.

That's far too different, and here's why....
Warriors and Paladins are both melee classes, in fact, they can both wear identical plate gear and weapons (except holy). They can both also be tanks, with similar threat and targetted moves, (with more in common than DK tanks or Bear Druids) and until ICC sets came out, they had nearly the same Tier stats.
With all of that in mind, why would I compare Mages to Paladins? Warriors and Paladins are much closer.

I never said a Paladin was best anything, what I said for those who paid attention, was that Paladins have much more survivability than Warriors, and have legitimate benefits of including in a group or raid. Playing a Paladin is also simply easier.

It is a fact (not an opinion, not a hypothesis) that Paladins have a ton of sheer survivability over Warriors at every level. Paladins also bring abilities and buffs to a raid that no Warrior could ever hope to. Warriors bring nothing to a raid that can not be filled by other classes.

BUT my friend and i are geared tank speced tank and are the same level. i am a prot warrior and my friend is a prot pally and on single targets i always have complete aggro with devastate shield slam revenge and heroic strike always keeps my aggro at the top but im not dissing pallys at all my friend would and has kicked my ass in a duel but blizzard would never make one class better than the other.

Im an 80 warrior tank, i pvp in arm's. both spec's are mile's better then prot paladin and retri paladin. Praytell how is a Warrior tank miles ahead of the Paladin tank. Nobody EVER needs a Warrior in a raid, period. The hp buff is worthless, and Trauma only benefits 2 other classes.
Dashing twice--means nothing in pve. 3 consecutive crits from 5 gcds and rage dump?-Don't bother. Counter?-worthless. Spell reflect?-marginal. MS?-only effective on about 2 bosses. Last Stand?-INFERIOR to AD. Bladestorm?-Inferior spec. Dual Wield 2h?-Yeah, the only class with a PASSIVE bottom talent.

I have two main characters on WoW, A level 80 Resto Shaman and a level 80 Protection Warrior. When I'm healing on my Shaman I always feel better healing a Paladin Tank, and while playing on my Warrior I know that the healers would rather I be a Paladin. I still like playing Warrior over Paladin, but that's just my opinion.
I do have a level 80 Pally, as well as a Rogue, Mage, Death Knight, Warlock, Druid and Hunter. I've been playing for a while and I say warriors need a little present.

dude you must be mentaly retarded. a warrior is the easyest class to play in PvE. no matter what spec your playing. you have 5-6 main abilitys and a cuple of cooldowns to pop ASAP so yeah.
never the less a warrior in PvP is the easyest target to kill if you have a tad of brains. we only have dmg in melee range and any skilled pvp player can get away from a warrior as easy as they can socket an item or loot a mob. so please STFU

Warrios are better then paladins, if you're = gear, warriors still do more damage. You haven't experienced the sight of a skilled PvE warrior, and in PvP they're way better. Watch Swifty PvP, and Klinda PvE, and you'll see your "OH LITTLE GOD PALADINS". Paladin's can heal, that's why they have shields. If paladin's could not heal they would be shit, and if they didn't have holy spec they'd have something way different, paladins are garbage compared to warriors, you're just bad.

Are you illiterate? Why the hell are you bringing up pvp again? Paladins have a ton of survivability over Warriors, period. You would know this if you hadn't gotten your account from ebay. They also bring abilities to a raid that no Warrior could ever hope to provide, and my gear was quite good at the date of this video.
There is no reason for dps or tanking to have such potent abilities, they can be just as viably given only to holy. Works out well for the other healing classes.

true swifty is prob among the best arms warrior's in PvP. tho i preffer Prot PvP cuz it gives me a tad more chance on classes like hunters, rogues... and a ret pala is so easy to pown as Prot. dissarm, shield wall, spell reflect, shield blocking must be up as much as posible... otherwise make sure to heroic throw and shield bash asap. quite simple...

PvE is hard? I see plenty of warriors with shadowmourne, so somebody is throwing them raid invites. warrior still are, in most cases, much more desirable in arena than anything but a holy paladin. you don't get to cry until cata. in the meantime, you should probably get used to prot pvp, as arms is going to hit like a wet noodle in cata.

There are 79 levels and then countless heroics to go through first. ICC gear is the very end of the game, and its 100% ArP Tier that only now allows Warriors to top dps charts will be removed in Cataclysm.
This video was never about dps, nor was it about pvp. I have to remind people of this about twice a day, and sometimes spell out the obvious conclusions.

Even I would agree with you on that for pvp, Paladins are a pain to kill, but they lack the burst damage and healing reduction of Warriors. In pve I would rather have a GOOD Paladin who knows how to use all of his abilities, like HoP (on someone else), DP, Plea, hits Divine Intervention before a wipe, and keeps his own SS up.
The problem is, Paladins are easier to play, which makes for alot of mediocre players, whereas Warriors are forced to be good.

Because strict interrupts rarely make a difference in PvE, which is all this video is about. In levelling, questing, etc, you rarely find a use for more than 1 at a time. And in dungeons, most of the casts that you wish you could interrupt can't be, and ones that you can interrupt wouldn't matter.

Lay on hands is a bit much, sacred shield isn't great for tanking either, good for healing pallies of course....and mentioning the heals of a pally doesn't need discussion...and Dks, are not horribly Overpowered lmao there is a thing called skill, i play a DK i've cleared all ICC except a few heroic modes and some fury warriors beat me, no big deal, i don't see why ur going through so much trouble trying to prove that pallies are so OP =/ and yes i got a 80 warrior and pally aswell as DK & rogue

SS is great considering any Paladin can use it or put it on anyone else, it's no PWS, but it does offer a slight buff for damage mitigation. The heals of Holy Paladin can be insane for tank healing or 2s, but even Ret and Prot can keep themselves alive out in the world or in bgs. Something that Warriors can never attain.
DKs are still OP when it comes to surviving, which is what this breaks down to when comparing Warriors to Paladins. Warriors just don't have it.

Dev, and ret aruas arn't too good, the resistance can be helpful and the crusader aura im not even needing to comment on that but i hope you realise that so much of this is an opinion of you...some fury warriors are fucking amazing some are ok and some are bad, same with ret pallies....and the warrior tanks are great at survival, and u talked a bit about pally tanking, devine shield loses all their threat and might wipe the raid...IMO i think both classes are pretty well balanced

It's not simply opinion, it's crunching numbers, they are not balanced at all. Paladins have a ton of survivability over Warriors and when choosing between the 2, well, just check out the global population numbers.
Divine Shield can be put up momentarily and removed just to save you from a sudden explosion, AoE, channeled attack etc. you don't have to leave it up and have a boss run all over the place.

Reflect can be removed by the weakest of casts, if you're referring to pvp. And Bladestorm can now sadly be disarmed. But yeah the self heals or auto heals of a Warrior are so piddly little its ridiculous.

Any little puny instant cast destroys spell reflect from any caster, and it does diddly squat to AoEs. But Mages can literally fire their most powerful fire or frost shot, have it even bounced back, and completely absorbed by a ward, or in extreme cases a fire mage can even send the reflect back at the Warrior a 2nd time.
Destro Locks and Shadow Priests can also negate their own spells like the Mages, and as you mentioned the harmless Wind Sheer whic always annoys.

@RawChristianSuperman Correct, ive seen other classes try to remove reflect with non hurting skills. they should remake reflect like in BC, it worked better. sometimes i can get polymophed even with reflect on it.. WTF they should either make it charges OR give it 3 second last BUT it wouldnt be remove by anything until the 3 seconds passes by.

It needs charges or simply reflects everything for X seconds. That would make it truly useful. As of now even in PvE, it's only really powerful use since launch of WotLK has been in sending Shadow Crash back at the spellflingers in AK. They were a 10 second cast that used to kill tanks on heroic, and needed extra focused dps or CC to prevent it. I personally love sending it back at them and watching them kill themselves with it.

A Warrior only has 2 stuns, and they both involve distance and stance restrictions. Prot gets 2 more stuns.
Paladins all have 1 ranged stun, but Ret gets 2.
None of this has any bearance on PvE.

I still completely disagree with this video however, a paladin may be able to beat a warrior 1v1, however, a warrior has a MS effect, effective stuns if prot, charge to pursue hunters and the like, shield reflect for mages etc etc, a paladin has nothing of those, hence the reason they have heals and an "oh shit!" bubble.
Not to mention the fact that you'll be just a "nab pala" if you play a paladin. Warriors however are an honest class.

That is the furthest thing from the truth. Remember there are 79 levels to go through before reaching 80, and countless heroics before obtaining the pinnacle of gear. It is much much easier to do it as a Paladin. Even at 80 their survivability is much greater than a Warriors, only a few patches ago did LoH start causing forbearance.

It depends, there are many different scenarios. Are you talking Paladin vs Warrior? Or Battlegrounds? Or Arenas?
There is no question that Warriors can put out more damage, but Paladins have alot more sheer survivability.

@newtubeusername just so u know. warriors cant charge while rooted or frozen. our silence is only in berserker stance. reducing armor is only used by tanks who use devastate. yes sunder armour is for dps but no one uses it. takes too much rage and another thing is paladins bearly run out of mana. specially rets so i think you should test a warrior idc if its in private server but do it cause most of your are wrong

the dude is right, if you have a palidanTRY LEVELING A WARRIOR !!!!!!! you will see a massive undenyable OP difference between the two. I am an avid pvper I have 2 toons over 2.2 rating DK/Warrior both are hell in comparison to a palidan for leveling and a DK can never take down an equaly geared Hpally unless the pally is afk. I hope that a shadowmourne will change that but having to get a legendary weapon to make it possible to take down one class is rediculous

It all depends on the gear. Currently Warriors can top the DPS charts due to the 100% ArP provided by 264-277 gear. No tier of plate has ever stacked ArP, and this stat will be removed in Cataclysm, then we'll see where Warriors land, considering Paladins will get temporary Holy Minions as well.

ArP is getting removed in Cataclysm, and Warriors have survived without it since vanilla. It's just one of the lesser common stats that is being removed, like MP5.

Eh, not really if you're in pvp gear. The only thing ArP mitigates is the damage reduction strictly from armor points. It doesn't ignore things like resilience, but as you may know, someone in PvE gear dies rather...quickly. So going into pvp wearing that awesome ICC plate may get you killed before you get those hits off.

@RawChristianSuperman Ofcourse it was an exaggeration, but I play a rogue, 30% damage reduction from armour, 25% or so from resilience, so its like being hit by a warrior with no ArP whilst wearing PvE gear, without all the extra damage output from myself, so it still hurts a hell of a lot.
