  • i'm hungry

  • It's no longer true that your burger doesn't hit the grill until you order it. If you show up during peak times, they have a stack of burgers they partially cooked earlier, next to the grill. When you place your order, they slap one of these burgers onto the grill, to finish cooking.

Whenever we go in there, we specify, "Give us a fresh burger, not one you've pre-cooked", and we watch them, to make sure that's what we get.

  • Harvey's... would that be anything like Hardee's here in the US?

  • @StukInBuf - Apart from the fact that they're both hamburger chains, nope.

  • The burgers are now HALF the size, of what they used to give. The new fries suck...

Anyone else still have their early 80's winter Harverys toque?,

  • That is something. It's been years. I am in New York now, but I use always stop at Harveys in Brampton or elsewhere on my drives into Toronto. I loved that place. Thank you.

  • @DetroitLives313 hahaha Brampton..... more like bramladesh!

  • @250Stonespray It is now......it wasn't like that back then LOL!

  • @DetroitLives313

If you have been through Brampton.. I am sure you have have gone to Sunny's on Queen & Kennedy.

  • Is Harvey's still around?

  • @DetroitLives313 yes but not as great as they once were...

  • @Retrontario Clearly you haven't tried the Angus Burger. =o)

  • @Retrontario ...still better than most.
