There is no superboss just one really hard to beat boss. I had the sword from the sword dancer and 2nd to best weapons on regal, genus and sheena it was still an incredibly hard match. Tried like 3 times then I used some item and I was able to beat him.

@ryanstone6 Lloyd- Once you get Material Blade, hold A+B+X when your health is red. (1x a fight)

Colette-Use Holy Song and Judgement 50x each, then it happens at random when you cast one of them.

Genis-Use Indignation 50x, then use again in overlimit.

Superboss-Get a weapon from the Bacura you crush in the mines, then you meet him in Flanoir. He has you find the rest of a set of 7 weapons, when you do, you fight him at the bottom of the Shadow Temple.

I liked fighting Abyssion the most of all out of the whole game. He's more fun then the final boss. I remember when I did normal all the NPCs would just die and I solo'd the rest. Also, Money was another thing I liked. That dragon made things easier.

The whole mystic artes thing in ToV is kind of dissapointing, it just makes it regular now, not really much of a challenge.

But in ToS, it gives me this feeling of epicness when I hit one.

You don't get Mystic Artes, they're called Unisons. You can start using them very early into the game after you beat Sheena the first time.

@01linkitewolf Holy Judgment: Use Judgment and Holy Song 50 times each (activation is random; keep using the required techs until she uses Holy Judgment). Indignation Judgment: Use Indignation 50 times, then use Indignation when Genis is in Over Limit. and Falcon's Crest: Equip the Material Blade, and when Lloyd is in Critical status (red health), press block, attack, and tech (default X , A, B) (uses 100 TP).

I've honestly seen Colette's Mystic Arte in game once, during my first play through.

@SkaiCyan Also, they're called "Hidden LV. 3 Special Skills" in Symphonia (and Dawn of the New World). Also, I forgot, you have to have obtained the "Eternal Sword" title for Lloyd.

Those "special techniques" are called Hi-Ougi in the Japanese versions, which has been translated as Mystic Arte in the later Tales games like Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia.

have u noticed the s and t type on the gem skill? well if you get most of the gem 2 become a t type the character will become a t type and vice versa u need 2 become a s type 2 learn sword rain alpha and beta but u must delete all t type moves 2 do this so beware.

Yeah, for example if the tech "Double Demon Fang" were to appear in blue, you would have to use Demon Fang 50x before learning the new move. Unless you switched over types (S-Type, T-Type), you would have to delete the opposite type tech before learning the tech on that specific type.

For Colette and Presea? Yes, if it's their T-Type skills you're trying to learn, then delete the S-Type ones remaining.

Are you sure they're complete T-Types? Also make sure you have T-Type Ex Gems equipped (must have more T-Type gems than S-Type gems equipped at once in order to switch types.)

Nah, levels don't mean a thing with Ex Gems. As long as they're the right type.

Gamecube. Lloyd's "Argh Me Hearties" costume at 0:30 is unlocked through a special sidequest at Luin. Check gamefaqs for more details.

Falcon's Crest: Material Blade equipped, HP must be red and the Eternal Swordsman title must be equipped. Press B, X, and A at the same time.

For Indig. Judgement just cast Indignation while Genis is in overlimit. (Also need to use Indignation at least 50 times.)

Sacred Shine is a PS2 exclusive unfortunately.

It's random, you have to keep casting either Judgement or Holy Song and she'll randomly cast it.

An easy way to do it is to keep casting Holy Song and cancel it everytime you see the target indicator over Colette. When there isn't an indicator, then she will cast Holy Judgement.
