wikipedia has a map of speed train roads in Turkey, mostly under construction. check it out. it is old, though. Ankara-Eskisehir is ready. Eskisehir-Istanbul will take more time due to terrain. Ankara-Konya is almost complete. Ankara-Sivas is nearing completion. within few years, most of the lines shown in the map will be ready.

yes. manufacturer is a turkish - south korean joint enterprise EUROTEM. trains are produced in adapazari, turkey. you can search eurotem in google for more information.

Nice video, very nice track infrastructure. A good start t for HSR in Turkey. My only complaint is that it appears the maker of this video sped up the frame speed at the end to make it look like the train is going faster than it actually is.

Also, I suspect the horn may have been dubbed in- HSR rarely use them in operation b/c there are few grade crossings, at least on new stretches of track like we see here.

I I need to compare French TGV and Japaneese Trains were testing at 500kmh they don't carry passenger with 581kmh yet. Their standard speeds are carrying with 300km/h.

Faster then 50km/h?I am talking about 200km/h line Constanta-Curtici,part of this underconstruction-868km long!I don't want to upset the turkish people but if you want to talk about Romanian Railways,i'm proud to talk about this,becouse we have an entire history in back,and more than 11000km of railways that's means top of the E.U.But how about you?It is not enough to have a 200km HSL if you don't have a tradition?However,comment was about the train,not about the Turkish,or Turkish Railway!

IAR PE UNUL INCHIS 200 ca in romania nu este infrastructura sa atingi nici cu un tren din lumea asta mai mult de 160. nici cu pendolino care este special facut ptr liniile standard din occident,in rom liniile standard nu sunt bine intretinute deci nu se poate.ce traditii vorbesti? korea de sud si japonia nu aveau traditii si acum? acum 20 de ani a aparut shinkansen 0 .

dude if i were you i wouldnt talk about romanian history.. romania was under ottoman empire rules for more than 500 years. and yea turkey is the second country after japan which has high speed train in mountain places. just check it out on wikipedia. yea yea check also high speed lines in the world in wikipedia, it says turkey has high speed rail but not romania xD

and 245 km high speed line is complated and 600 km is underconstruction. and we built our own High speed rails bro. cheerz

the train that you see in this video is Spanish made by CAF company.

and has maximum speed of 250km/h

Italian ETR500 were used for testing the tracks and ran at 300km/h.

Future high speed train will be built in Turkey with technology tranfer agreement

with Rotem. and capable of 350km/h.
