Ok - I know im gonna get ripped for this but there are better guitar players than Clapton - much better in fact. One that comes to mind right off the bat is David Gilmour.

@rojackbt This is YOUR opinion. And don't compare them man. Both are genius. And both are playing another kind of music. Clapton is blues-rock, Gilmour is prog-rock. But i've heard Gilmour playing blues, and i like Clapton more!

@TennisNick Sorry, Nick. This is Brownie's neck. CBS maplenecks (i.e. '66+) don't have this 50's small headstock. (I have one) 1950's decal and the walnut truss rod headstock plug not found on any CBS mapleneck. Most importantly, check any and all photos of Brownie's fingerboard wear. Any mapleneck's " fingerprint", if you will. This is it.
