you guys should be glad that you can have this song in your country, for me have most of eric album from bluse breaker to this day and never heard of this song till i got it on you tube.So be thankful
as much as i am a Cream fan and Enjoy Eric , Ginger & Winwood, i think its kind of an outrage how Ric Grech get litterly no Credit and The bass is soo ridiclously quiet even in the solo its hard to hear, they could probz do a reunion even though Ric is dead now
Ok - I know im gonna get ripped for this but there are better guitar players than Clapton - much better in fact. One that comes to mind right off the bat is David Gilmour.
@rojackbt This is YOUR opinion. And don't compare them man. Both are genius. And both are playing another kind of music. Clapton is blues-rock, Gilmour is prog-rock. But i've heard Gilmour playing blues, and i like Clapton more!
@TennisNick Sorry, Nick. This is Brownie's neck. CBS maplenecks (i.e. '66+) don't have this 50's small headstock. (I have one) 1950's decal and the walnut truss rod headstock plug not found on any CBS mapleneck. Most importantly, check any and all photos of Brownie's fingerboard wear. Any mapleneck's " fingerprint", if you will. This is it.
@mikestrat56 The headstock in the video definitely looks bigger than Brownie's headstock though. Though you know, I think you're right. It probably just seems so damn big because it looks out of place on a Telecaster to me.
@Lookup2Wakeup Well considering he jammed and did backing vocals for artists like Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker, I would say he knew a fair bit about the blues :P
I just LOVE this!! Have been their fan for so many years, and have seen them separately but this time I may go see them together in Paris..!!! Thanks so much!
@baronacebass Well maybe I didn't explain myself toot well, by "being their fan" I meant °Steve W. & Eric C. I "knew" the group 40 yrs ago because maybe I'm a little older than you and I am quite aware that they aren't around any longer.
Yeah. It`is perfect.

I note Dimwood doesn't credit Sam Myers for writing it in his intro.

@LBDarnocCZ strats and teles have different neck shapes that feel different. He's probably goin for that twangy tele sound with the feel of a strat

@1954telecaster2 Good call. Most definitely Brownie's neck. No doubt.
mikestrat56 1 year ago
@mikestrat56 Most definitely not, Brownie had a small headstock. This neck is CBS Era, Brownie is Pre-CBS.
