I like my Chili from Chili's Bar and Grill in the town of Chili NY just south of Rochester. Just Kidding I think Chili's Bar and Grill sucks But I love Chili (the food and town) even if the town is pronounced Cheyelie and as for bean to meat ratio I like more meat but I don't like tricky chili that pretends to be a drink.

I like dark kidney beans and maybe black beans in my chili. And black beans instead of kidney beans will tend to make it less farty. But definitely kidney beans in my chili. It's just required.
